- In this video we are adding a spare key to a 2019 Volkswagen Golf with a Johnson Controls instrument cluster, using an Xhorse VVDI2 and VAG Helper.
After recent rumours surrounding the VAG Helper we wanted to make this video to clarify that the VAG Helper is still a working product despite its limited functionality.

hello. yesterday I tried to register a key for a Volkswagen amorok 2018 (mqb key), no device(vvdi2, vag helper) could not subtract the data of the immobilizer. the server is not running vag helper. getting the immobilizer data has become a problem

So how can I do it with vvdi2 alone, cos some locksmiths do it with only generated files from engine, gearbox, and instrument, then we send them these files and they send us the synchronization file, can you please tell us how they do it
Why not prepare oem key ? Normal dealer key would be kicked out if it ever goes back to vw ??
Does the aftermarket /xhorse key not get recognised as an oem key by vvdi 2 ??

This is the bit of info I was looking for! All the videos I found for vag OBD helper were from over a year ago before they said vag blocked the server, and am curious. Are all the functions of it still available, or did they block some functions of vag OBD helper, if so, which ones? Subscribed to the channel!!! You guys have no nonsense tutorials and reviews, that's what I like
Audi have made their servers unreachable for any device. VW, Skoda and Seat have restrictions but still work in some cases.
Thanks for that bit if info! So what is the official workaround for doing the job for Audis without being able to use vag helper?
Nice one Ravi, will the drop down menus on vvdi2 be updated to reflect JCI/Virtual clusters for adding keys, instead of using the menu options for NEC35XX as a proxy?
No they won't have the separate menu until JCI can be read without VAG helper so best to use the method shown in the video

Fake bag OBD helper is dead
are you sure i was looking to buy it online most of vw cars that i try to make keys came with the jhonson control security this makes i m losig my money lol
