Missing the Epson 7910E Melody chip in MAME (a door bell chip basically, Taito's Rock Climber is also missing that chip too), Pleiads was developed by Kawa Denshi Giken for Tehkan (Tecmo). Interesting that Kawa Denshi/Tehkan made the export version of Pleiads easier than the Japanese original set (having a warp, & move & shoot faster). A list of Kawa Denshi games; Safari Rally ⁅SNK/Taito⁆ Phoenix ⁅Taito/Amstar/Centuri⁆ Pleiads ⁅Tehkan (Tecmo)/Centuri⁆ Naughty Boy ⁅Jaleco/Cinematronics⁆ Pop Flamer ⁅Jaleco/Stern Electronics⁆ Exerion ⁅Jaleco/Taito America⁆ Field Combat ⁅Jaleco/Magic Electronics⁆ Also, the Lupin the 3rd/Lupin 3 Sei Melody chip is somewhat fitting on Pleiads (somewhat good in a way, may not be permanent though).
Super cool game!
Realy gud vidoe!
Stellar gameplay and score on one of my childhood faves I remember playing. Chillicothe Antique Emporium has a Japanese cabinet version btw.
Oh wow, that version is definitely my favorite. Is it there for play or for sale?
Not for sale but typically always running well for play.
