Thank you!! Talk about timing!! I've had a small photo box of 3 x 1/2" stips that I cut remaining paper pads into, to make bows. Well, I decided I reeeally didn't want to make all of those bows anymore! Now, I have a new use for those strips, even though my panel will be a little narrower due to shorter strips than yours are. At least the strips Will be getting used, for a neat look. Thanks again, Connie! These would make cute tags to go along with the few bows I have made. I love the idea of diecutitting little view-through details, too, taking advantage of the mats in additional ways.😊
Connie, I learn SO much from your videos! Plus the fact that you provide the project sheet with all the measurements and supplies needed is just the icing on the cake! Thank you so much. I look forward to each and every video. ❤️
Love this technique and you’ve made it so easy by scoring lines instead of making marks on the paper. Thanks for sharing your creativity, Connie! I’ll definitely be trying this soon.
Very attractive cards. Love the paper saving technique, if only I would think ahead. Usually I glue everthing together, then realize I could have used Connie's paper trick!
Connie, you always explain so well. I have been wanting to try this technique and your tutorial is the best one I have seen. Many thanks! Cannot wait to make these cards😀
Just now able to catch up on all your videos… love this technique! I have a lot of small scraps that are so pretty I couldn’t throw them away…finally a great use for them! Such pretty cards 😊
I love this video, Connie. I have done the twisted ribbon technique several times, but you gave me some new ideas. I love both cards, but I especially like the first card with the bright colors! Thank you.
Connie just love, love, both cards!! Also, smart how you show us to save using strips for flowers etc. Sooooooooooo "akamai" (smart/Hawaiian) watching you from O'ahu, HI TFS!!! love your YT channel
I love how you have done the technique on this card Connie! Wonderful way to use up some of the scraps we have. I just may give this a try on a 5X7 card. Be well, be safe & TYFS
Thank you for sharing another awesome technique! Your economical use of paper cutting and placement reminds me of Flash Cards and Flash Cards 2.0. I loved those series! Will you be adding to them anytime soon?
There seems to be a discrepancy in measurements from the video and the instructions download. In the video, (1:46), melon mambo is cut at 2.75x 5.5. The black is cut at 2.5 x 5.25. When you trim the faux ribbon paper, it is cut at 2.5 x 5.25, which doesn’t leave any border. The instructions download seems more accurate. Melon Mambo: 3” x 5 1⁄2” • BasicBlack:2 3/4”x 5 1/4” • BasicWhite:2 3/4”x5 1/4”
Hi Connie, On your instructions paper it states that the melon mombo to be cut 3x5 1/4, but in your video you say 2 3/4 x 5 1/2. Can you tell us which measurement is correct?

Hi Joy, you might do a search on my channel. I recently started the PDF downloads.
Thank you for sharing another awesome technique! Your economical use of paper cutting and placement reminds me of Flash Cards and Flash Cards 2.0. I loved those series! Will you be adding to them anytime soon?
Patricia, I will make a note. I haven't thought about it to be honest.
Really love your color combos. How do you decide which colors?
Mellorie, I use a color coach. ruclips.net/video/ivdwfISKBRc/видео.html
I’m searching for a fun fold graduation cap. Did you show that?
Deb, I haven't.
❤
Thank you for watching.
Are the tweezers from Stampin up?
Cindy, yes, they are from the Embossing Additions Tool Kit item #159971
There seems to be a discrepancy in measurements from the video and the instructions download. In the video, (1:46), melon mambo is cut at 2.75x 5.5. The black is cut at 2.5 x 5.25. Melon Mambo: 3” x 5 1⁄2”
• BasicBlack:2 3/4”x 5 1/4”
• BasicWhite:2 3/4”x5 1/4”
Eileen, that is entirely possible. I sometimes say the wrong things on the video. That is why I share a download.
Hi Connie, On your instructions paper it states that the melon mombo to be cut 3x5 1/4, but in your video you say 2 3/4 x 5 1/2. Can you tell us which measurement is correct?
Can anyone else tell me which measurement is correct?
I can cut both and see, just wondering if someone knows before I do that.
Kelly, I sometimes misspeak on the video. I would say trust the download. But try on scrap paper just in case.
Unusual. Can’t wait to give it a try. 🩷
I do hope you will.
