The vintage sounds and energy of Cuban dance music live on in the music of Orquesta Akokán, a group of Cuban and American musicians who play deeply soulful mambo reminiscent of banda gigante of the 1940’s and 50’s. They perform new songs from their 2024 album, "Caracoles", in-studio for the #SoundcheckPodcast.
