The sweep wasn't even that satisfying considering how terrible Duke was this season. Couldn't even give the Heels a decent game on senior night.
I think the court storming had a lot of other factors though. This game was delayed because of weather, and Duke canceling the bus ride over. A lot of pent up apprehension and excitment got to those kids. I agree though, UNC shouldn't be doing this kind of stuff.
I always thought that was a dumb complaint that particular North Carolina team hasn't had the success yet of past teams and those particular fans haven't either. The classes rotate every 1 in every four years especially from two years ago when that team wasn't very good.

There is a slight history of this so IDK why ppl were acting surprised? Not only is there a slight history of it, but these were MUCH BETTER UNC teams than the 2013-2014 squad that defeated Duke at home so there should've been little to no surprise, yet they reacted in the same manner. I was supremely irritated at Dickie V as well. In all of his mancrushness on Coach K, I guess (at his advanced age) he forgot about the Cameron Crazies rushing the court after needing a 40 foot buzzer beater from Dockery to beat an unranked Va. Tech at home in 2005. That Hokie team was 4-12 in the ACC that season...but whatever
