    There is a difference the difference is your Cabbage started to immediately wilt, then burn along the edges. Other videos I have seen the cabbage did not wilt at all, smoke, or burn. What you can take from this is that there has to be something spray etc... on the cabbage to prevent it from getting spoiled.

      Thank you that's what happened to me. I know I ain't crazy. It never tasted like cabbage and it had an artificial smell when it finally burn

      They do spray it with something. It's called water. Keeps it fresh and fireproof, because thats what water does. If it seriously bothers you just grow your own.

    Thanks for posting this, your video was very helpful. I think a lot of peoples concerns with how yours burnt a bit while the other ladies didn't can be boiled to the fact that hers was simply retaining more water. Cabbage is made up mostly water I believe, and so like all organic things no two things are exactly the same. Not to mention the strains of cabbage were likely different as well, so the general composition of the material would be slightly different. Regardless, it's pretty safe to conclude that it is not plastic.

    Thank You so much for trying to teach these crazy people something, to bad most of them still aren't going to believe you..Thank You, when you see people doing things with the cabbage all i can think is man you people are crazy, they don't realize that cabbage is like 90% water IT will eventually burn but you have to hold it over the fire long enough to make the water evaporate and them just putting it on the flame for 10 sec at a time isn't long enough.

    Can someone tell me where I can buy the fake cabbage. And if it’s stretchy, wouldn’t it feel rubbery in your mouth like a balloon?

    • @PointTeacher
      @PointTeacher  7 лет назад +1

      Aloysius I suspect, if you rested it right on the electric burner, the water in the cabbage would burn out faster.

    • @aloysius3799
      @aloysius3799 7 лет назад

      Gina Davis I rested it about 20-60 sec. I used Josie's organic cabbage from cub foods

      I don't know I'm kinda worried about this fake cabbage , how can you tell if it's "fake" or real beside burning?

    • @PointTeacher
      @PointTeacher  7 лет назад +1

      Aloysius Wow! And it burned that fast! To me, that is questionable. It could have been old. How did it smell. Fresh cabbage has this crisp cabbagy odour. I wouldn't say unpleasant, but strong and cabbage like. Fresh cabbage is crisp and crunchy sounding. Limp cabbage does not have much water, could be old. Living where I live, fresh veg is not necessarily fresh. Which is why I grow what I can. Fresh here can be weeks old. Once you grow and eat fresh, there is nothing like it.

    • @aloysius3799
      @aloysius3799 7 лет назад

      Gina Davis i don't think it's fresh since I bought it from retail store . and it smells little bit of like cabagy.

    Cabbage in fact does burn!! Your cabbage did start burning on the edges...if left longer it would have burned more. The problem is cabbage is 95% water so it takes longer to catch fire because the condensation process has to be completed. Once all that water is evaporated that cabbage leaf would have gone straight up in flames. Thank God you removed it when you did.

    Finally someone with common sense! But if she would've left that leaf on the fire long enough it will burn but the only reason it didn't catch fire instantly because cabbage, lettuce & greens have water inside them!

    • @PointTeacher

    • @PointTeacher
      @PointTeacher  7 лет назад +4

      It is not supposed to burn until the water evaporates. I would be suspicious if it burned right away. Then it is so old, there is no water in it.

      Cabbage is like 90 something percent water, and like any natural think there will be variation between harvest to harvest, region to region, ect... Its wont burn until its dry. Evey wonder why people dry or "season" firewood? Ive thrown a green piece of wood in a fireplace onlyvto find it barley blackened the next morning.

    Cabbage DOES burn. Of course it does!
    Anyone who's ever cooked a stirfry in a wok and not kept stirring or tossing the vegetables can tell you that. EVERY vegetable burns (in fact almost every THING burns) if left long enough over a flame or a heat source.
    Why would people even be debating this???
    It's common knowledge (as well as common sense).

    • @jessicapunk88

      IT will ONLY burn after the WATER evaporates out of it, now thats just common knowledge and common sense!!

      Because I was not planning to burn my fingers. Had all the water evaporated, it would have burned. The point is, cabbage, like most green plants, have water. Water must evaporate before said plant burns. I did not know at the time, that it had water. Someone had to inform me. Makes sense. I have tried to burn many green leaves since which...same result...

      She did place it longer on the fire than the lady on the other video did, so of course the water would already condense out the leaf and evaporate into the air.

    She probably sells fake cabbage herself, fooling people that she grows them in her garden. She has so many cuts in the whole video, we don't whether she switched the cabbage between those video cut. Juts because she is old doesn't make her less of evil or suspicious. she should make a single video and upload it.

    • @PointTeacher
      @PointTeacher  6 лет назад +5

      Jack Sparrow I don’t sell my cabbage. I grow my own food. And if I have surplus, I give it away. Only a person who lacks honesty and integrity was attempt to prove something to themselves only to trick others. Who has the time. I made the video because I wanted to see what happened. So why in the heck would I switch something to prove to me that I’m right. That defeats the whole purpose. So with “old” age comes something that you may one day live long enough to learn. Besides, I’m not that old. I’m grey headed and fat and too Black to be evil.
