Roy Buckley - Waltzing On Borrowed Time (Pete St John)

This was recorded in 2020 as a tribute to our legendary friend Pete St John who had just been awarded the IBAM award for his services to Irish music.
Pete is the iconic songwriter who wrote such amazing Irish songs as The Fields of Athenry, Dublin in the Rare Old Times, The Ferryman, The Mero, When Margaret Was Eleven, Hey Johnny McGory, Danny Farrell, Ringsend Rose, Jim Larkin, Tara Tansey… among many more…
Sadly, Pete is no longer with us as he passed away on March 12th 2022 at the age of 89.
His songs and his legacy will live on forever.
