Mia, you have great talent. Beautiful swing. Positive expectations, but not unrealistic expectations. Just remember, even pros say they have only 1 or 2 good shots a round. They have positive expectations that the next shot will be the one. Love your videos.

Mia…..that was a remarkable round. I can’t believe that you scored that after such a short time that you have been in the game. Congratulations to you. I have been playing for years and only once scored in the 70’s. Yes, I am an old fart but played when I wasn’t so old and at my best I scored in the low 80s and hit the 70s maybe twice when I was 25 years younger than I am now. Good for you. Keep the videos coming. I rejoice in your success.
Good stuff, Mia! I’ve learned that I can’t expect my low to be consistent. When I shot my low round of 83, the amount of “not too bads” were really high. I probably only hit one “good” drive all day. But, they were all misses in the fairway to 200-220 yards and that was enough. The next week, I shot a 101 and nothing was working again 😂

Great playing . Worplesdon was my childhood course back in the late 70's, along with Woking (Hook heath) and the other "W" you were looking for - West Hill . Would love to play them again .

Should take a look at Decade. While I like the data side, you can make your own yardage books for any club. Like you, I can’t live without my books and it’s a great tool to make and print at home. Worth a look.

Two really funny comments on there. The first where you said you were going to pull your socks up and when you looked at your feet you wondered how? Then you said you were speechless .... lol 🤣 and again you think .. how? The third W is West Hill, I believe.
Don't know why these three are called that but I used to play at Walton Heath which is also a really good course. They used to play the European Open there, I think.
Don't know whether it was a coincidence but yesterday I had my best round for years. Might have been your infectious enthusiasm who knows. I was pretty pleased despite getting very wet in the last 4 holes. Happy days. Thanks Mia. 😀

Good round. Playing the right tees can be the difference between having fun and being miserable on the golf course. There is no shame in not playing the longest tees. The goal is to have fun not beat yourself up!

Congratulations Mia! Just a tip if you want to play fade on most of your shots always tee it on the right side and aim a bit more left. You will be there in no time!
Stay down on your putts!!! I noticed it on the video with Pete Finch - you're standing up (and often walking) so quickly after you hit it! Stay in position and watch the ball closely. If you roll it past, you get a free read of the break coming back.

thanks for the round; you play with such great attitude. i found myself smiling through the video. english courses seem so much more difficult to hit, like some of the older hawai’i courses. the newer ones here the ball sits high off the turf, and the greens are much smoother, like billiard tables. question: have you ever tried playing in hawai’i?
