As songwriter too, my favourites in this semi-final are Switzerland and Austria. Pure quality. Every element in both songs are very well executed. Austria has a very strong lyrics with a story behind. You love it or you hate it. My prediction is almost the same, but I think Moldavia won't qualify because of the staging.
I haven't watched rehearsals, so I have no clue what to expect. But I agree, staging this year might become the downfall for a number of countries. 🤷♂️
