- The Biden administration announced Wednesday, May 1, that it will be canceling $6.1 billion in student loan debt for 317,000 people. The debt forgiveness targets people who attended the now-defunct for-profit Art Institutes.

An art degree from any college will leave you poor.
When will this happen?? Dont have to do anything?? Do t trust it!!
No your good. It will be automatically discharged. Now if you have not tended to your loans you can access them via Federal Website. You can update all your information and such. Odds are that loan since the Dept of Education can not administer it has been sold off to one of 3 companies selected to manage the debt. You can get access to that as well. Within that interface you will be the amount owed. Now if you have done all that you should have zero requirements out of you and your debt to Art Institute will be discharged and credit restored regarding that. They are vague though on refunds that you might be owed. If they have your banking information then you should be refunded something at some point. If not then a hard copy check will be mailed to your address on record...why updating your information is important.

Empathy does not change your lot in life it never has never will. If you require the feel good of a person telling you something but can't fix it some self evaluation is required. Your life is not my fault, mine is none of your business.

Art has never been a real degree. Starving artist is a term for a reason. I'd feel empathy if they were fooled by an engineering college.
Forgive the debt of students who pursued the most useless degree imaginable and has no benefit to society whatsoever. Yippee....
Or went obsolete, cause of technology, gimmic, college games, oh come back up date , 4 more year's. It's a joke.
