- Charles Evans, a retired mail carrier, believed a grave marker was not enough to honor his wife when she passed away in 2011. He said their love deserved more than a monument. Steve Hartman has more.

I watched this story on the news tonight--twice! The tears flowed harder the second time. Wish I could visit Mississippi so that I could visit the Love Museum. I would love to dance with you, Mr. Evans.

I never really was a "travel" kind of person but I would LOVE to go to America just for this museum! He could show me every picture and tell me a story about it and I would just be happy listening to him

Lord, I pray you to send me a love that no matter how down we are, we still are in love and fight everything as one!!! This man has brought tears to my eyes by sharing their passion with us. To see him light up and smile, talking about his love for his wife that lasts beyond death, doing them apart is just too much to hold my emotions in.

This devotion shows that remarriage is not for everyone. John is not lonely and does not need a new girlfriend or wife. I dislike it when "experts" say that we need to let go of the past and it will make us feel better. Speak for yourself is my answer (and most others) The past keeps that fountain of youth in me and my health is as good as it was in the 1970's.
