THANK YOU ALL for the great feedback! Here's a new track that's designed to be gentle for people who are new to binaural beats. :)
Just put on your headphones, close your eyes and get ready for the best sleep of your life.
Binaural beats can be a bit of a workout for the brain. If you haven't experienced them before, it can be like trying to lift a weight that's too heavy for you.
This track goes into Delta more slowly than in my previous videos, to give your brain more time to adjust. It also doesn't go as deep -- but rest assured, 2.0Hz will have you feeling VERY relaxed!
In the first 30 minutes, you'll go from the alert Beta state through the REM (dreaming) state to the super-relaxed Delta state. You'll stay in Delta for 45 minutes then ease back into the REM state, to complete one full sleep cycle.
Sleep cycles vary in length from person to person, but are generally 90 minutes in length. After that, you can take off your headphones and enjoy an excellent night of natural sleep.
** DISCLAIMER: I’m not a doctor, just a nerd who loves meditation and experimenting with new things. I test every binaural beat track on myself and make sure I'm happy with the result before I make it public. Ultimately, every person is going to have their own unique experience. Using this track is done at your own risk -- if you start to experience any negative effects, STOP using it!

In the beginning of this video, it says left ear 109.6 Hz Right ear 123.6 Hz. Does it matter which way the headphones go on? I know that sounds like a dumb question, but with all of today's technologies, it wouldn't surprise me IF in the end, it DID matter. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ok... I have been suffering from Irregular sleep patterns since I was 3. We never learned why so doctors have always diagnosed me with idioinsomnia. Over the last few years I have been looking into methods to help me sleep and I recently like a week ago started trying this 90 minute track. Dude! I dont know if it's a placebo thing because I want it to work or what but its fastest I have fallen asleep for as long as I can remember. While I still wake up through out the night I can get back to sleep without lying in the dark for 2 hours. So I'm gonna say I think it works.

Mr. Jody Hattson, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to you for creating this. I have been dealing with Chronic Insomnia since early childhood and I'm 22 now. It got worse when I worked on Night Shifts. Every night, I would lie in bed awake until dawn, brain overflown with thoughts that I couldn't control. I listen to this every night and it works like a charm. I do not know whether it works because my brain has something to focus on like white noise that ceases thoughts or it's because of the binaural beats, but it works and I can sleep. So thank you very much. Stay home and Stay safe, everyone.

Had cancer treatment a year ago and still having treatment for side effects. Usually can’t get to sleep for couple of hours, get couple of hours sleep, awake for a couple of hours then maybe another two or three hours sleep on a good night. Really exhausted every morning. Thanks will be using again.

Very wholesome. But it tells how younglings nowadays are very tired and don't have much time to enjoy themselves without thinking about what will happen in the future and thus grinding and working and studying led to their downfall as a species. Younglings ain't happy they need rest to cleanse themselves and purify their mind against evil and unnecessary thoughts. With the finale of the youngling waking up smiling and carrying on the day to the daily grind of life.
      Very profound.

I've listened to a few of your power nap videos and they were great. I didn't sleep well last night so thought I would give this one a try. I didn't fall asleep until some point in the delta phase. But I was dreaming during theta stage. I was awake but dreaming. It was weird but cool. Also as soon as it shifted from delta back to theta at the end I woke up. I tried to close my eyes to listen to the end but couldn't get back into it. Thank you for making this.

I listened to this for the second time last night. I only discovered binaural beats a few weeks ago. The first time I tried, I was very restless and the ear buds really bothered me while lying in bed. Last night, I listened while sitting in my favorite recliner. I had an interesting experience, at time even feeling like I was floating. The first time, which was about a week ago, I actually heard the transition from Alpha to Theta, and while its a beautiful sound, it shocked me as I was still fully awake and not very relaxed. Last night, I remember thinking "this is stupid, nothing is happening"....and then I looked at my phone only to discover I had made it nearly all the way through the cycle! I suppose the floating sensation was actually deeper sleep/dreaming? I was amazed! Im very skeptical by nature, but I proved to myself that this actually works and I will use it again as often as possible. I didn't hear any of the transitions and I was so shocked when I looked at my phone I literally thought I was dreaming I was looking at my phone. This is an excellent tool, thank you for your work on this!

Thanks for doing this. I was really excited to try binaural beats when I first heard of them. I was then very disappointed when I could not tolerate them, after listening to this one for a few weeks, I can now listen to any type that I come across on you tube, I do find yours the most unnerving or most peaceful. I come back to this one often, if Im really unbalanced this is the only one that works. This usually cures my extreme morning anxiety and broken sleep. Thanks again 💓🙏

It’s just amazing what a difference this has made, not just in helping fall asleep but stay asleep and a very deep sleep too. I wake up feeling better than I used to and fall asleep quickly.I had trouble doing that in the past.I was a huge sceptic, but it actually works! I highly recommend one purchases the entire set and have them on your phone or player, rather than just use you tube. The adds on you tube that come on not long after the start, can be annoying especially as your trying to sleep and they come on.. It’s most likely a way to encourage you to buy and that’s ok.Truth be told though, Jody is not greedy and he lets you decide what you want to pay. You couldn’t ask for more! To be fair, don’t rush to buy, only because after a while you will realise how well this works that you will want to give Jody more $$$. Especially if you had sleeping problems like myself and you see how well it works. A big however though, is that this is not for everyone for various reasons. If it works for you great. If it doesn’t it’s not because it’s a rip off, it’s because it’s just not for you. I have recommended this to many people, the vast majority are hooked and love it. The remaining very small minority either say it’s made no difference or they hate it! Again, everyone is different. Jody if you read this, thank you, it’s much appreciated and I’m going to download the entire package for other family members and pay not just for the reasons I wrote above but because you really deserve the dollars. It truly is the best to help sleep out there. If your in doubt about it’s safety in general or because you may have some condition you are concerned about, do your own research or seek advice. If you are uncertain or feel there are some issues, you may want to way up the risks if any, over the benefits of a good nights sleep. The medical benefits are many, according to many medical opinions. Bad sleep can cause serious negative medical conditions according to many medical opinions. So do your homework for peace of mind if in doubt. If you feel comfortable using it, you won’t regret it if it helps you. Remember it’s not just that it may help you fall asleep it could give you a better sleep and not many other apps or programs etc out there can do that. Like white noise or rivers flowing, rain and thunder and so on.
If you are a side sleeper and earphones, earplugs or earbuds are not for you, or just don’t like having something in your ear whilst sleeping, you can buy soft, stretch material, bluetooth, rechargeable headband /sweatband type, style, listening device, that have flat and reasonably thin speakers inserted inside them with excellent sound and are very comfortable, for around $15 to $30. You can then take the electronics out and put them back in if you want to wash the headband/sweatband type, style device. You will be surprised how comfortable they are especially for a side sleeper and how good the sound is. I actually find it more comfortable than the smallest earbuds or even foam earplugs.

Since i started fasting for about two months now. I do 24 to 48 to 72 fasting every week. I have been having problems sleeping (too much energy i guess)... So i saw someone recommended on IG this right here. So I decided to give it a try. Went to bed close to 1am and that damn ad came on talking about this and that. I touched SkipAd and proceeded to listen with my earbuds and close my eyes. At first i could listen to my heart beating but then after breathing slowly and relaxing i was able to sleep sooo good.
Had LONG dreams with friends I haven’t seen in more than 10 years. We all talked about life traveling around the earth etc. All i can say is Thank You. I woke up around 4am turned my phone and headphones on and went back to sleep without any issues. Now is 8:45am and I am about to go workout. I am 36 hrs deep into my fasting. Tonight i will be listening again. 💪🏾

I have been having a really disrupted sleep cycle lately. I listened to this last night when I had a really bad bodyache and all I wanted was some restful sleep. This was very helpful and I woke up at sunrise today, but my body still felt like I needed sleep so I got back to sleep. Usually once I wake up in the morning, no matter how tired I am, I'm unable to have a complete 8 hour cycle or go back to sleep. I woke up feeling well rested and energetic.

Jody, I tried this "gentle" version out for the first time last night. Wow is all I can say. You just have to experience this once to know that you are not sleeping right. I still have to figure out something with the headphones, as I am a side sleeper. My in-ear iPods did stay in for the full cycle though but are not that comfortable. I had no awareness of time. I fell asleep and woke up 90 minutes later. Felt like a split second, but I felt more rested than a full night sleep previously.

@@vik5592 unfortunately not. Each ear needs its own audio. The frequencies get 'mixed together' by your brain trying to reconcile them. I use the analogy of holding two different combs together and sliding one left and right. The third frequency beat shows up because the spacing is different on each comb and gets amplified when the individual comb teeth cross over each other and form a visual beat.

Uhm..OK. I have been using binaural beats for a few week to help me sleep. Been using Bluetooth ear buds that I can sleep with in. I usually always have a box fan on high right next to my head, but it isnt doing much for me lately. I was using (new to me) videos of theta waves that have some slight music. Was basically a low hum with some chimy music but it worked. I slept fine and woke up with it still going turned it off. I came across this and was intrigued. Tried it. Slept 90 minutes and was AMAZED. I wanted to try the 8hr one, but only sleeping 4hr cycles. I used the 90 minute one and woke up every 90 mins and restarted it a few times. I am so shocked and amazed.

Wow, I had tried this before but somehow it felt like by body was too afraid to fall asleep and it jumped me out when I started to fall into deep sleep. This time was very different. I felt like I was awake the whole time but felt a lot of things happening in my body and brain. Have had sleeping problems since I was a teen (35 now) and burnout problems for the past 7 years, increasing and decreasing but never quite fully recovering. I felt tingling in my brain and throughout different parts of my body and in the final like 10-15 minutes there was a weird experience of intense pressure on my eyes and a high pitched tone in both ears (kind of inside my head) until I heard a loud popping noise that fizzled out and I felt really different after that, just fully awake and not tired. Don't know what happened exactly but it felt like the session relieved a lot of tension areas in my brain from the burnout. Almost like untying a knot or something. Really bizarre but really curious how I'm gonna feel and sleep the next couple of days. Feels like something shifted with the burnout symptoms. I hope so. Been too long.
Thank you so much for making these! The power nap versions have similarly helped me through tough times.
They should really do more official research on these. They're definitely doing something to my brain, helping it get out of the fight and flight mode it's seemingly been in (or getting into frequently) for years

When we really need sleep, we'll overthink, over-observe and ask ourselves every 5 minutes, "am I asleep yet? how about now? did I just fall asleep a minute ago?"
My suggestion: relax every muscle, breathe slowly, and allow your thoughts to drift. Random thoughts like unicorns and rainbows -- not work and tomorrow's to-do list.

Get this: I tried this track this morning and slept again... after a whole night of sleep !!! I have to say I don't sleep so well and I was still a bit tired after waking up, but to fall asleep again in the morning is not easy for me...
I found the track very good for this reason but also advise everybody not to rely on solely on these tracks, your mind needs to be free at times and you got some mindwork to do as well...
I feel relaxed right now, thanks again for the track...

I've done this deep meditation for some time now. It's very beautiful
There is nothing to be scared about. Just play it very low so you can hear the beats very gentle. Focus on your breathing and just be..... This has always helped me to sleep... I wake up the next morning refreshed and ready for the day..... Still with headphones in.... Just try.. .. x

Is it weird that I literally crave this every night now? And as soon as I turn it on my hands and feet get a numb tingly feeling?

hehe I dunno if it's weird, but as the creator, I certainly like knowing this!

Finally. All I found before were videos that included tinkly, wind chime crap music. This is so much better for sleeping,

For all of you complaining about the ads:
    1. There is only one ad
    2. Go to the end of the video and wait for it to end and then restart it before listening and the ad will be gone

I felt like I was in a dream state all night.. Like I knew I was asleep but conscious at the same time if that makes sense. Then I got up the next morning feeling like I barely got any sleep🤷 I'll try it a few more times though.

Thank you for this - no complaints about the MP3, but my iphone experience, and the inadequacies of the earbuds that came with my iphone 4s - yes, I am still using this iphone for the very limited use I have for mobile communication - but I have never used the earbuds until now. I have now moved on to wireless on-ear covin E7 and have successfully listened , and viewed the visuals on 4s.
I think I fell asleep during the afternoon session, but did awake/resume feeling very peacful and refreshed. I intend to repeat the process over normal sleeping hours tonight, so expect a post again.
Thank you for the work you have put in to producing this - I am a 78 year old, 6 years downstream from a quadruple heart bypass, and 6 weeks from a hernia operation, who feels the need to improve his sleeping pattern, post hernia disruption. I am sympathetic to ideas binaural, having been introduced to them by my equally senile brother, a retired vet
beat wishes, and I will certainly be posting again
