How exactly can I do this with *FBX* files? Crowbar seems to have no way of decompiling them as nothing from a model that is FBX appears when I attempt to do so. I read somewhere that Blender Source Tools can covert them to "SMD or DMX" files but I clearly don't know how.
I´ve got a Half Life model, that I want to port, but the whole model name is missing. It´s only the bodygroups. Instead of "soldier.dmx" it´s just "soldier_gasmask_ref.dmx", soldier_torso_ref.dmx", etc. I tried another soldier model from opposing force: Still the same problem. Any clues on what´s wrong or how to fix it?

make sure that it's updated to the latest version, check file integrity if you're using steam. and reinstall the addons in preference

it's cause of the blender version '4.0'. use blender 3.6 instead
The model wont become a dmx file, it just freezes blender
two things. one you should use blender 3.6. two make sure to delete the collections before exporting
