Another great video, Alex! :) I love these types of journeys through current arcades with vintage arcade games from the era. My colleagues from Press Fire to Continue channel visit this place from time to time. There are so many great classic games there - you can play anything, but it's best to just stand at one and try to get the highest score and keep trying to beat it. Old arcade games are great because they are difficult, so you never get bored - "again... and again" ;) 21:45 - UK version of Vendetta (it was in our local arcade in Poland in the early 90s) - a very rare cabinet, much less popular than the US version. The UK version is unavailable for sale, so I decided to get the original parts from this version and build it :) I want to build it with as many original parts as possible. I have an original (not bootleg) Konami PCB (uncensored version), a complete original 4 player control panel (in great condition - for 1991) with original joysticks + additional original joystick (NOS Wico), original buttons, original beautifully preserved CPO and original complete wiring harness from control panel. I also have original marquee (NOS Konami), original 3rd and 4th player wiring harness (NOS Konami), 4 player selection buttons, coin button (which is in the middle between player selection buttons), and coin door (NOS Happ Controls). Instead of 25" arcade monitor I will use 25" CRT TV for the moment. Soon I will have beautiful side art (repro) and other missing parts - and the whole cabinet will be professionally cut (CNC) according to original dimensions. The cabinet is identical to Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles UK version (TMHT), which can be seen in 32:00. Once I have all the parts - I'll start assembling :) My top 5 cabinets that I could take home from Arcade Club Bury: 1. Black Widow 2. Robotron 2084 3. Asteroids Deluxe 4. Gauntlet II 5. Bag Man PS. I love Double Dragon - it was in our local arcade in Poland in the late 80's where 80% of the games were in dedicated cabinets.
@@Alsarcade The UK version of Vendetta was in one of the arcades in our city (where I still live) in Poland. We were really lucky that at that time (80s and 90s) 80% of the games were in original, dedicated cabinets (and that in Poland - amazing). I remember exactly where all the game cabinets were in two of our arcades from the mid-80s. The dedicated Vendetta (1991) cabinet in the UK version appeared in 1992, replacing the Punk Shot (1990) cabinet that had been there since 1991, and before Punk Shot there was a dedicated large Gauntlet II (1985) cabinet for 4 players in that place (since 1988 or 1989). I remember that when they put Vendetta there, we didn't like the cabinet at all - it looked weird, the control panel was lowered, and there were 4 player selection buttons and a coin slot under the monitor - completely different than in standard cabinets. But when we saw what a great game it was, we immediately forgot about the cabinet's appearance :) I'm currently in love with the dedicated Vendetta cabinet in the UK version - it's really beautiful :) The one I'll be building (after getting all the parts) will never be 100% original, but it will be made of as many original parts as possible while maintaining all the original dimensions. But it will take some time, because I'm busy with various things (not related to retro) and I have a lot of other work (also on Punk Shot for 4 players - I love this funny game). But I promise that it will definitely be made someday :)
This was a really enjoyable weekend. Great to meet so many new faces and have such a good laugh. Arcade club was amazing. I had fun on all floors. @@Alsarcade Salamander is a bit of a grail cab for me, when I get moved and start on the collection again - I suspect using various repro art a standard Goliath cab could be made into a convincing Salamander. I've nearly 2x looped that game, so I'm invested lol :)
I have all Goliaths in my hobby project I built a bit back :)

Gauntlet is system 2 Atari... I personally loved Paperboy, Marble Madness and Indy. If you were scrabbling for others than 720 degrees is surely on that system too but I never played it.
You later complimented Escape From the Planet of The Robot Monsters, also system 2.
Could you arrange UKVAC meet at the Arcade Archive?
I can and I have done in the past but I like to include people further north so it’s good to change locations.
Alien vs predator was Capcom 😁 paperboy is a great game.

Didn't Double Dragon pretty much start the side scrolling beat em genre? It's bound to be clunky...
@@robertmoss556 probably, it was the start of the credit munching games which I didn’t like.
Do they have Pitfighter Alex?
@@Snestastic I didn’t see it Pete,But I know they have one.have you got nostalgia for it ?
@Alsarcade I have Alex. The 3 cabs I remember the most are Pit Fighter, Final Fights and Operation Wolf. I have a great memory of a family holiday. Me and my cousin beat final fight and pit fighter at an arcade in Wales. Tbh I'd love to own pit fighter one day 🤔
