Hi there I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday:) So 3 things! 1. The video is uploaded in 4K so I hope it will be ready at some point in that resolution. 2. My channel is apparently under attack of some kind of spam, so just remember - I do not write you about a great prize or a giveaway - I am not that kind of nice guy;) 3. Thank you so much for every single one of your beautiful comment. It is so much more encouraging that you might think. I wish everyone a wonderful day. See you out there...
Glad you sorted the spammers / scammers out Morten. Pity about the Sony A7 RIV - but, if I'm honest, I'd have ended up selling it and putting the money towards a 600PF!
After watching your videos where you go into a hide? I ordered a great inexpensive one man hunting tent! Then I got the cloth and put up the tent out back on my home. Birds began landing on it and it was funny. 5 birds were walking around it in the rain. I can't wait til tomorrow when the sun comes out to enjoy taking pics in it. I also have to weigh down the ends because I have it on a wood deck facing the water one way and my huge dogwood tree in full bloom with another window...the other window faces my gazebo where hummingbirds fly into the Jasmine blooming now!
I'm 14 years old, and thanks to you Morten, I got into wildlife photography. Now I spend almost any free time outdoors, taking pictures and watching animals. I thank you for this and wish you health and success in your work and your mission, someday I will join you!
good for you. I started later in life and happy I did. filming and photographing nature and animals has been amazing to see the moments we miss in our daily lives.
Dear Morten, I just can't express my gratitude for all the beautiful stories you share. This video brought me my best memories from childhood when I was spending the whole summer outside in a nature at the countryside at my grandparents place and watched the nature documentaries on TV. Now wildlife photography is my greatest passion and throughout the years you had a great impact on it. The ethics, the knowledge and the passion you gave and taught me are of great value to me. You are a true friend and my hero. Love, Mateusz 😊
Some people want to win the lottery. Others just want to be Morten Hilmer 😁😉👍 Could you maybe make a video showing how you got started, you know in the small days and what you did between then and now? Where you grew up, how you became more known and so on? I know you have touched upon it a little before but a full video would be awesome :)
Hi Joe. So nice with a comment from you. I hope you are having a great time. By the way. Could you send me a PM with a link to that radio interview with you. I missed it that day. Yes I can make such a video one day. It is maybe a good idea. Take care. All the best
@@MortenHilmer I cant imagine anyone on this planet would have a bad word to say about you - a rare gift! Honestly it wasn't very good. I felt a bit rushed so answered the questions a bit rushed to not bore everybody. Also I'm not using Instagram anymore as I have decided its not for photographers and not a platform I want to be part of :)
Thank you Morten , you are always an inspiration for me towards my passion for nature and photography. Your videos always have an impact in myself which I cannot explain in words. Thanks. As you always say - See you out there - 🏔️ A fellow human ❤️
I love videos like this showing Morten in his “natural” habitat living his life, seeing his day to day activities and his daily interactions. Not only do we see him working in the field but also a bit of his personal life and his relationship with his father. I feel very privileged to be able to enjoy these videos. Thank you very much!
Morten, your appreciation for every small thing nature gives you is really appealing. I think your enthusiasm shines throughout your videos, and that is your main appeal. Good work.

It was just a beautiful video... It was just so relaxing watching everything... It was a long video but kept me glued to the screen from start to finish...
I'm glad your Dad's back is still holding up. No guarantees as we get in our 70s and 80s but it makes me feel good inside to see other's able to function well.
Bro ur videos is like out of the world. The background music you use, drone shoots, voice over everything is sooo perfect. I can watch 2-3 hour long video without getting bored. Keep it up the good work and try to make more long videos. Love you❤️
You give us inspiration, Morten. I am an older man; I won't tell you how old. But in all my years, I am beginning to understand that it is the small things that bring happiness. Nature is such a healer, and you always manage to show us what is important in life. My gratitude.
Dear Morton ,thank you so much for this video . I learn a lot about the wind, the smell, how to photography (how to do, the position...). I never see this little forest bear(his surmane in France ) but I hope so much. I don't have enough Iso but only to see him , I will be happy. Thank you for the partage. 🙏🙏
Dear Morten Hilmer! I get fantastic experiences from your videos. Your pictures are wonderful, your behaviour in nature is exemplary. There are always a few surprises in his films. He has created a miniature universe on his farm. I can only write the best about what he does and how he does it. May you always be happy on your wonderful farm. Best regards, Dr. Zoltán Dobány, from Hungary.
Thank you for sharing-along with your spectacular successes-that even a great wildlife photographer can also miss a photo, and that is just an opportunity to learn and make a different plan. Your badger photos here were wonderful, but for me I also sometimes love my photos of great times with the wild ones, even if they are not perfect. It is always so good to be out there, and there is always something to see and memories to take home. And thank you for taking good care of your little piece of paradise. :)
You are on a whole another level in video creation, no flashy music or b-roll just peace and pure nature. Literally a heaven who love nature. Keep up your great work- love your work❤️
Hi Morten, a great upload, and lovely to feel the joy of Badgers, one needs time to look for them, patience to see them, and some luck to get a good pictures. Well done you. J&A&B&T

Just amazing.. The calm, peace and mental bliss where only problem is how to get best picture of Badgers.. Really admire your work and mindset.. Thanks for a peek into your farm life...
You hit the nail on the head. II’ve hit four local spots I found recently and 3 of them were a total bust. The last one was a success and gives me a lot of hope for later. Lots of ducks, hatchlings, and very few people. As a new wildlife photographer, I cant thank you enough for your content.
Love watching your videos Morten, it's like therapy for photographers. Relax and drink coffee in a photo tent. Just perfect I can't wait for morning now. Kind regards to you and your father. 📷😀
