I had a very hard time getting into this until around 4 or 5 minutes (it was interesting...but)...HOWEVER..I'M SO GLAD I kept watching...this was the VERY BEST I'VE SEEN..love this guy and the interview..thank you so much.
Great talk. Interesting guy. Mexico does have amazing geography, wildlife and great people. Thanks for your insights- it makes me long for some Mexico time. All the best.
Very interesting video. The 500 mile eco-circle around Guadalajara sounds like my sort of place. I found a 2020 review of the book Outdoors in Western Mexico but can't find the book anywhere. If anyone has a link I would appreciate it. Thanks.
Hello Tom, There are two volumes of Outdoors in Western Mexico, presenting 65 sites...and we expect volume three to come out before the end of this year. Here's a link: www.saudicaves.com/mx/outdoors2/index.html. Cheers, John and Susy Pint
It's funny how the interviewer is trying to find out about this guy's house and he could care less about the house. He's all about what's outside his house. Definitely not the typical gringo retiree.

Well, that's one interesting interview that isn't going to result in an invasion of hoards of people herded by real estate hucksters into a small area. Thankfully, there aren't that many bat lovers who want to live in a rural setting without all the comforts and amenities of city life.
Again, the same negative remark i always have, why don't you add some pictures from the people you interview? Does't have to be much or require much editing, just add a couple of pictures from region/house/other...

I find these interviews boring because there’s no action; just talking heads that are often not very articulate or interesting. It would be better to have some images of the property or community while the narrator can be heard but not seen.
This interview is the reason I am a subscriber to your channel. John is such an interesting guy. Thank you
What an introduction to your new home! Great story. I like that this guest has so much knowledge of nature! Outside tourist areas.

Thank you Expats in Mexico and thank you John Pint. I just looked up your website and love it.
A great, positive look at Mexico and the area. Haven't made it to Mexico yet, hope to soon!
I absolutely loved his enthusiasm and poetic descriptions of all of the various places I now want to visit!

Most enjoyable interview..... Gracias!!
Good interview! I learned a lot about an area of Mexico I've just started studying.
Love this. Inspiring, interesting, valuable info...thanks!
Great Interview .....
I enjoyed this interview immensely!!! So, that explains why Mexicans would expect that fences are no obstruction in the u.s.

Hes face when the interviewer ask describe your house😄😄😄😄
I'm sorry, I didn't catch the name of the "nearby town". Is it La Venta de la Sierro?
Clay, it's Pinar de la Venta.
Gracias
It's La Venta del Astillero, min 14:54 the nearby town he eats at. But, he lives in Pinar de la Venta.

How about the water pollution in Lake Chapala, south of Guadalajara?
I believe it is safer than Flint, Michigan water :)
jose luis sanchez gil
Water in Flint is equivalent to Toxic Waste
so not a good comparison unless Lake Chapala
is on the same level just less Toxic...
To bad you didn’t answer this question but chose
to make a lame joke of it instead...
I’m sure was a legit concern of his...
Jc travels did a recent podcast on the health of Lake Chapala. It is safe for swimming and fishing again.
