COMPTON / WILLOWBROOK - We met up with Lil Bop from Carver Park Compton Crip at Carver Park. He talks about being raised by his grandmother when his mother was having issues. His father is the late civil rights activist, Black Panther member and founder of the New Panther Vanguard Movement, Shareef Abdullah. Growing up in Compton, he also was affiliated with Santana Blocc Compton Crip.

What happened.......
Was at these twin females house in Carver with my cousins chillin etc... Carvers came through chillin etc but during that time there was friction between our hoods. So we all in living room and they know where I'm from but seem like they wanted me to confirm. So when asked, Bop was like "i knew i know you from somewhere, you and your brother with the jheri curls on Rose St yadda yadda". Had that not happened I'm sure I probably wouldn't be here typing this out.

Love your videos Alex. The production quality is always on point. If we could new material more often that would be the only improvement I would make. Kev Mac gets some interesting interviews but his shit is like listening to a brick in a dryer. If you guys teamed up I think it could be interesting.
