The marine animal is actually a shark whale and it's
one of the most special marine species in qatar and
it's considered a symbol here. found in the Arabian
Gulf waters.
And if you notice, the kid was holding a big sized
pearl before he let go of it in the sea and it went on
the shark whale's skin, thats why the part where Land
meets Sea with the little boys holding a pearl,
captures a beautiful scenery of our identity and
history in one shot, since Desert and Sea both were
solely the two main resource for living back then for
Khaliji Arab countries, the chants in the beginning of
the song that say (ala ho la dan) are melodies that
Qatari sailors back in the day used to sing when
leaving their homes for a while and going for fishing or
looking for pearls in the sea, the word (dan) coming
from the arabic word (dana) which means a big pearl.
that's why you can see scenes of sailors and
fishermen in traditional Qatari clothings dancing on
the ship with the chants!
the intro Chant was also used by local football fans when rooting for their local football clubs as chants "With/on ease" means forward with ease.

"That’s a whale SHARK. In this context the whale sharks are a direct reference to Qatar since it is a cultural symbol to them so the BTS theory is a stretch and I believe it’s important to respect what is symbolic to Qatar. Qatar is home to one of the largest whale shark aggregations in the ocean. The pearl which the boy picked up and put into the sea, used to be their main source of economy before they found the oil. Those from Qatar obviously knows the whale sharks are heavily used to represent Qatar. Them showing 6 boys playing soccer together, 6 boats and 6 whale sharks in the video however I believe is a shoutout to the rest of the bts members" 💜
Possibly the 6 boys playing may reference BTS but the 6 whale sharks represent the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
