First is Anais making friend problem in which she finally made friend with Jamie, basically a brain and brawl duo. Then, they made Nicole and Granny Jojo to have come to a mutual understanding by convincing Richard that he has all the memories he needs without having to rely on the fridge. Now, they resolve Principle Brown and Ms. Simian relationship by having him confessed through a misunderstanding. Soon, they are gonna resolve the relationship between Gumball, Darwin and Mr. Robinson and have him opened his heart at last. It's almost the end.
When Barbra painted a portal for the boys to fall into and rob mentioned how she can alter the paintings and change the future and she said only what’s left, she meant that the future that she painted was all that she could paint, from there if the painting is an event happening in the present, she can make small changes into it.

So if you notice during this last season they are giving side characters we know nothing about more dedicated episodes. Like the’ve bonded more with banana joe. In the begging of this season we focused on penny that one time when gumball over reacted about the emojis. Their mail man. Then we focused more on Sussy. Then on Allen. It’s like its telling us we are reaching the last of gumball.
