What an amazing collection of transcriptions, and played with panache and skill! Thanks Richard - especially for Orb and Scepter - my favorite - one day!!!
One of my old music professors, who was relatively young at the time, actually suggested to us in a Music Lit class of some sort to keep the Barber “Adagio for Strings” in mind as honeymoon music. He said he played that on his wedding night when it was “time” and they’d had an incredible marriage ever since, with his wife even often requesting it. Externally, I controlled myself, but internally I just died laughing. Till several years later when as a newlywed I tried it myself one evening. He wasn’t wrong. LOL
I arrived part way thru the live broadcast and finally listened to the entire concert today. Richard, congratulations on a fabulous performance! I look forward to your next offering on that fabulous console.
GLORIOUS!! Thank you for your magnificent performance & the backgrounds of the music, arrangers, & previous performers. Always enjoyable, uplifting, & learning experiences w/BIS!
Thank you for the recital tonight. I really enjoyed listening. Some of the pieces were familiar, while others were new (to me$. I really enjoyed hearing a couple of pieces that brought back memories of my fore into the world of organ music in younger years. Thank you for all the content you put online! I am not in a position to pay you, but I find it very uplifting, and bright points on light in an otherwise drab week.

@@johnharvey2215 thank-you, you're quite correct.
Could you check the order for the Verdi Grand March and the Prelude from the Te Deum? I think the time stamps are reversed.
@@stephenhall4822 Thanks for flagging this! I've updated my timestamps, and will see if the in-video chapters can be updated.
Hi Richard, which version of "Jesus Joy of Man's Desiring" were you playing? The one from Duruflé? Wonderful Interpretation, btw :-)
