@@TexasTimelapse HAHAHA! I love the way you did the math for each person!
The scene where he yells, “I need more duct taaaaaaaape!!” gets me every time. 😂🤣 I so wish they would bring this show back.
Badass when it comes to us strom chasers work is very important even if it has some safety risk we usually work around those risk to complete the task
Lol me too.
Is it moving due east
They are currently producing a new Tornado Chasers Season for RUclips.
We need this show back!
I totally agree. Even years later 🤘🏻
Dammit Timmer!! Bring this series back!!
TexasTimelapse amen
I’m not a part of the main show production stuff, but I’m a part of the behind the scenes crew and it made me happy that y’all actually let the crew talk about their work! The theme that was made fits it well, very well for a short bit that won’t have that time to build up the anxiety, example is the soundtrack from Interstellar. They have a whole 2 and a half hours to make the music a real part of the narrative. Here, it’s the opening and small parts, but they get their point across effectively without having to have so much pre story.
Bring this series back. You could possibly have it run thru RUclips prime or whatever. Putting it on RUclips will give it access to alot of people.
Please bring this back,so much better than anything from Hollywood!!!!! thank u Mr Cole for sharing all of this, enjoyed the fabulous crew and the informative info every time the team was chasing.God bless u for creating something the weather fanatics can enjoy 👍 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
You're welcome, it's an honor!
Epic! As usual, to everyone involved Thank You. Obviously its been a long time since this was filmed, however I feel I need to say Thank You for all the hard work and may you have the best memeories of those who lost their lives.
Had no idea you guys had original music composed. El Reno theme and middle of the rain are beautiful
Like everyone else here I saw the movie Twister, the night of the twisters, Wizard of Oz etc. I find tornadoes interesting too. The difference is that I live in Australia. Sometimes here we see I think what you call RFD's? or that low cloud start to descend but unlike America it just stops there. We have some tornadoes recorded in history but due to the lack of population in the country they are under - reported and dismal in size. We have dust spirals that we call
willy-willys. I found this series interesting because all the way over here we saw the Moore tornado including the 4 news report on our news and heard of the El Rino not long there after. I recognised that footage while watching this season two (in 2019) and realised the connection. Thank you for the series.
There are some Australian teams and I have seen some footage from over there RFD stands for rear flank downdraft the low hanging cloud you speak of is called a wall cloud
@@ragestorms1942 Thank you rage storms - it's nice to learn something new. I would love to see the footage so if you find it again can you post here? We have interesting summers - so much heat during the day that sometimes we have black outs/loss of power. Sometimes it feels like there is so much electricity in the air and it usually leads to wild lightening. We had a tornado hit a dam with boats on it a few years ago. I live rural. Last summer there was a destructive storm in a nearby town. The damage seemed to be in a straight line through town and a fence panel was speared into the side of a vehicle - it made me wonder. We had a large bushfire that was so hot it created it's own weather system and shot lightening bolts on a catastrophic fire day - pyrocummulus cloud (like the volcano type thingy). Sorry for bad spelling :)
you know, if you really like this series, you gotta watch storm chasers.
tornado chasers is kind of like a sequel.
For all of the Oklahoma tornadoes: I experienced them, and yet I still felt moved by the series and the music. It spoke volumes for how it felt to be in the area (I lived at the time near Meridian and I40 area) when they were happening, to see them unfolding on TV, and the aftermath of them as well. :) Thank you!
On my bucket list: Tornado Safari !!!
Having been through many of crazy weather in my 58 years on this planet,my hat is off to all of you who made these videos.
The danger is real be it a tornado or hurricane.
They defy logic when viewed up close.
I spent 10 hours on my knees in prayer as Hurricane Ike ripped our area of southeast Texas.
The wind damage the driven rain and the combined destructive power leaves a mark on your soul and memories.
May God protect you all while you guys make this wonderful footage.
Awesome is not even enough of a word!
God’s Speed and God’s protection as you guys
continue.
Bring this series back! We want Season 3!
Bring this show back!!!
Absolutely perfect, amazing work ladies and gentlemen.
It was really cool to hear from the music composers.
The theme is really touching. Reminds me of the main theme of October Sky. Has that kind of melody. Well done Rachel well done.
I seriously love the song middle of the rain- it needs to be put up by itself and on spotify ='D
A fully studio-recorded version is on Spotify at open.spotify.com/track/5vLeU3dWnGgAUTeIyifGwl Check it out!
I wish you could bring back tornado chasers I miss it so much 😢
Reed is without a doubt the real life "Extreme".
I ❤️ the lyrics to "Middle of the Rain" well done.
I wish you guys could've made a season 3. This was much more interesting than Storm Chasers.
Seriusoly was so geared up to watch part 2 just to have to wait in suspense..
So wait in suspense I will with the others
Love the song in the end!
Big ups to those Kickstarter backers. We got to see that from our perspective and it was absolutely awesome. Big ups to KFOR for funding that while they could. Every Livestream since has been perfect and intense without all the extra production.
Rest in Peace, Tim and Paul Samaris and Carl and others that lost their lives in El Rino. The song "Middle of the Rain" is beautiful.
the song at the end really captures the emotion of this series and that which was the El Reno tornado. I have to say that even I cried when I watched Tim's funeral because I knew how passionate he was about getting the data needed to better understand tornado habits. What if he hadn't of passed? do you think storm chasing would be the same or would it be what it is now anyhow?
This is the first time I’ve seen this episode (November 2020).
I’ve known about the unfortunate loss of Tim, his son Paul, and Carl when the El Reno tornado 🌪 happened.
I was shocked and saddened because I’ve followed Tim Samaras’ since I first saw him in storm chasing documentaries back in the late 90’s.
Tim was one of the most careful and cautious storm chasers out there. Safety was his priority because he had tremendous respect for the forces he devoted his life to studying.
The tributes to Tim, Paul, and Carl are apt in this episode.
Would storm chasing be different if he was still alive? Maybe, maybe not.
What’s for sure is that we’ve lost the talent of an incredible engineer who made valuable contributions to understanding this beautiful but deadly severe weather phenomenon.
You can tell that stormchasing changed after the El Reno tornado because of the losses that day, and the respect the community have for those who perished.
I think it would have changed regardless, because we would have had Tim Samaras' very valuable information.
Love this show
I call Reed’s running with his phone to his ear on that debris filled street his “Baywatch moment.”
Please make more seasons of tornado chasers
awesome music
lightening in a bottle 10/10 show
This was fabulous! The composers, the editing team, (OMGl the work) the camera operators and producers, and of course the Dominators, all was seamlessly melded.
I was a Broadcast Video student at my local community college, and editing was my favorite part of it. So kudos to the editing team! AMD to the musicians, composers, amd the intro editor, which seems like a pretty cool job.
Watching this show is like watching raw footage, and the next best thing to being there.
Wish "El Reno" and "Middle of the Rain", were singles I could download. Beautiful, and very moving. Thanks for this glimpse into the production end of things. Most folks have no clue as to how much grunt work goes into making a show of any kind.
There are perks to some jobs,t hi ough. Like the gorgeous photos of the helix tornado and what I suspect is the El Reno monster. (it's behind Heidi, and the angle is bad for a good look at it).
Again, thank you all! ✌💖😸

15,000 homes in Paradise,Ca were destroyed in the Camp Fire Nov. 8th 2018. Over 60 lives lost. Reed visited a few days after the fire.
Exciter wow interesting
love the behind the scenes.
I was wondering how the music came about. Great episode for someone who wanted to know the behind the scenes aspect.
ok can we get a full version of the tornado chasers theme please it is so good
Yeah, Reed! I clicked for part 2, only to find out that you're going to make me wait. Oh well :-/
Thanks for sharing with us Reed.
Awesome music reed and love the theme song that opens up the show is there anyway for me to get a copy of that track or all the songs and thanks
The El Reno Theme made me
Emotional Sad showing
Tim Samaras his son Paul and there colleague Carl Young as a paying tribute memory for TWISTEX and 10 years later
I always have Tim Paul and Carl Spirit for team TWISTEX and Richard Henderson as well.
REST IN PEACE TS PS CY RH
NEVER FORGET 05/31/2013
There hasn't been an EF 5 since this show ended.
So worth the wait ..now may. 15th ..ugh ..but it will be worth it..
I can honestly say living up NE in CT and Ma where it use to be uncommon but not so much for the last 6 years and being in and around mountains many don't see it coming but I definitely have learned alot from this show ..amazing
Gratitude bestows reverence, allowing us to encounter everyday epiphanies, those transcendent moments of awe that change forever how we experience life and the world."
- John Milton
I wonder if there's a recording of this demo floating around in RUclips land? Don't get me wrong; I love Dannsair's version, but this version the best.
This show is great. I hate that I just found it. Reed is awesome.
Incredible video 🙌
I would love to edit these videos for a living. I went to film school and always wanted to be a part of a film crew for storm chasing. Sadly I am in Canada and we haven't got any storms out here really. Nothing intense like tornadoes
Eastern Canadian here (Miramichi, NB) and we get 'em! Not huge mind you, but they're here. We're actually in an outbreak here now, got peppered with hail the other day and THEN saw the funnel, lol. Ottawa had a big one last year even! Believe you me, they're out there, I have ample pics/vids to prove it too. It's almost like our media doesn't want to create fear so they ALWAYS downplay it or call it something else. It's not until it's too big, too populated and obvious that they'll finally admit to it.
Don't even get me started, lol! :D

i've seen a lot of people talking about the song at the end, so here.
Soooo good.
majestic🔥
MORE MORE MORE, REED REED REED
Why not bring this show back?? What’s the issue?? 😒😑🙄
great song...if you all want to go to nashville, i used to own a studio and its still there. contact me. great song, great sound, too
When’s season 3 coming?
Reed's probably sleeping again. Intensity wears a man out.
El Reno theme reminds me of October sky.
Do you plan ahead where you are going to chase
I need more duct tape!!!
Those poor animals. Is there an organization that goes out to help them after severe weather? Volunteer vets or something? 💔
❤️
This was really cool to watch. One thought though, the guy who made the intro had the easiest job, I'm sure there are a few people in the comments that could make a better intro. Regardless, great job to everyone involved, do it again soon eh?
HA! Most of these people couldn't pull a pair of underwear off their head, let alone make a better intro for this show!
2020
Hope they don’t wait too long to put our season 3. If there even is going to be a season 3
I believe there is a season 3. I think it's lurking somewhere on RUclips. Look up "Danger TV" they might have it.
@@trendmassacre8423 there is not a season 3. Danger TV only has season 2. I bought Season 2 from Reed's site about a year or two ago and there has been no S3 mentioned by Reed as of yet
I honestly hope there is a season 3, this series was so intense and real
I hope there will be a s3, but honestly not sure if they will. Growing up watching this show was amazing , but after the passing of his buddy's it's really hit Reed hard and I think he's done with tornado chasers ( that I know of, I could be wrong. )
so it's ok to recommend me a good app for Italy and Europe
Wait is what breaks the wagon Reed. But wait I will!
They armour these cars but no roll over bars?
the first half..... everyone was poopin on reed....
saying he is slow.... cant wake up.... always late, ETC
it honestly felt kinda like tiger king.... like..."here is this bunch of misfits... film everything"
then 2nd half.... all of that suddenly, and noticeably disappeared...
probably because the editing happened after they died..... and they went fore a more serious tone
Yet nobody called a Vet
This is old footage
It's from the old show bud
the song at the end sucks and does not relate to tornado chasing at all.
It's called middle of the rain . Why are u relating it with tornado and chasing ?.
