Apologies for the delay in getting back to you! Right now, RT does not work with Ray Tracing in Lumion. For exteriors, it remains best practice to use the Raster engine in Lumion. It has been improved in L23, and the results are good, with quick render times. The main use of RT for Lumion is interiors, to bring up the fidelity and improve the overall behavior of light. It's great in certain situations. For more on this, check this interview with the Lumion heads: lumion.com/news/2024-vision-interview
@@viarender No worries with the delay! That’s interesting and adds up with my experience. I found RT quite lackluster in lumion, not working with glass, water, vegetation or subsurface scattering. However I’ve tried using it with interiors… and haven’t achieved good results either. Last attempt made me feel so disappointed, because it literally looked like Play Station 2 graphics.
@@tERMO980 Yeah, it has been a challenging release (Lumion 23), it is increasingly hard to justify the incredible price tag. For exteriors, it is fantastic, and even without PT or RT, lumion exteriors look great. The interiors just do not compete with D5 or Twinmotion right now in my opinion. The hardware costs, program costs, stablility and limitations are becoming very apparent in Lumion. I still love the program, and think there is more good stuff to come, but for paid work, its the other two programs for me.
excelent video thank you!
Thanks so much for watching and commenting! Cheers
Thanks! Very helpful!
Thanks for watching, and writing a nice comment!
هل تنصحني بتعلم اللوميون أو d5 في المشاهد الخارجية؟

Why are you not using raytracing? I want to know if it was really worth it.

Nice tips but the render doesn't look good to be honest. You could've added a reflection probe for better reflections
Thanks for watching! The render is a rush job, so kinda meh. I needed something quick for the Thumbmail….. 😋
