In today's episode of Painting Masters we'll look at works by the highly skilled and talented Sergey Kuznetsov.
Sergey, aside from being a renowned artist - is also the chief architect of Moscow! Discovering this amazed me. His work is indeed very accurate, but it's also highly impressionistic, and has a very artistic flair.
Here's a link to his website, so that you can read more about him and see more of his work:

What a talented painter. His paintings have a real sense of atmosphere.
Yes, very impressive to see that from someone who’s also very technically proficient and experienced in architecture (:
Thoroughly enjoyed this one, Liron. Mr Kuznetsov has that rare ability to put a relatively restricted amount of detail on the paper for the viewer's eye to see - but when the eye sends the visual signal to the brain, the brain is tricked into thinking it's seeing a tremendous amount of detail. I've always admired, and envied, that ability to use the power of suggestion/impression in a painting in that 'less is more' way of working. Thanks for sharing these works with us. All the best, Brian.
Love his style. Very talented person. Thanks for bringing him to our attention.
You got it! 😊🙏🏼 Thank you for watching
Beautiful works!
Thanks Liron.
I love this artist too.
Good designs. Strong big shapes no faffing and alot of artistic freedom.
I enjoy the atmospheric mood he evokes as well, I was instantly drawn to it. Thank you for introducing me to his work.
Thanks for introducing this great artist and architect!
My pleasure 😊🙏🏼 Thank YOU for watching!
You're right about them having touches of colour to lead the eye. I'm very impressed. Castanet has a similar style without the variation. Thanks Liron.
I like this Series very much! 👍🏻
Liron, you have helped me so much. I caught some things that you pointed out before you said them, especially the dry brush. i also noticed that there was NO green in any of his work. Love it. Love it. Thank you
He's very good! I like his use of soft and sharp edges.
The dry brush is interesting to see it up close. Thanks for the expo.
My pleasure 😇 I’m sure seeing these in real life is even more impressive (:
Love the review and details you pointed out. I've never seen the artwork and appreciate your sharing!
Love your videos. Greetings from México 😘
I am not supersized that he is a architect as watercolour painting had a very close association with building visualisation and the painting of what a grand house may look like in a landscape for many century's, thanks for the video
Yes, architecture and watercolor definitely have that association 😊 What amazes me is how he isn’t bound by his technical knowledge, and can go completely towards the impressionistic route 😮😁
Some people binge on Netflix, I binge on your videos. Your enthusiasm is contagious! Great job Liron! Any plans on doing an episode on Edward Hopper?
Wow thank you so much 😊🙏🏼 I actually talked about Edward on my podcast! But he’s also on my list for Painting Masters - So Could very well happen in the future (:
I really enjoyed this video, it was very interesting, I've never seen these paintings before. I love this series thank you for making this video Liron, peace my friend xo

Indeed amazing, added to my list 🤩🙏🏼🙏🏼
Forgot to tell you, Liron, George Dombek has a watercolor book, available on Amazon, that you won't believe. His rock work is beyond mind-blowing, as is his architectural use of light and shadow. It's a real eye opener.
Thank you so much 😊 He’s actually on my list! His work is stunningly impressive 🤩🤩🎨🎨
