I’m just finishing up my year’s subscription with Graham. I’ve learned a lot. Achieving the darks is done by combining cobalt and alizarin crimson often mixing on the paper. My favorite parts are always the wonderful colors in a white shirt or hat. He often doesn’t explain why he’s doing something so that’s been a challenge, but still, well worth membership and he critiques his students’ work. Thanks for highlight his work. Very unique.
I love Graham Berry's work. Thanks for this feature. I think you would find it interesting to watch one of his demos Liron to see his technique in action. He does one every Saturday on his personal Facebook page.
I so enjoyed sharing with you our mutual admiration of Graham Berry’s watercolors! Your observations opened my eyes to aspects I hadn’t noticed. His observation of details is unmatched, which he translates beautifully. There are a few videos available to see his process. As I watched, It almost seemed to me that he’s honed his personal style to such a point that his painting is like that of an accomplished pianist. The basics are automatic through repetitive practice, so it frees you up to expand your creativity. Anyway, he is a marvel, and I’ve tried to explain that to other people, but “meh” was the general reaction. You, on the other hand, got it!! 👍
Liron. I've been watching your videos for just a few years. I learn so much . I really appreciate you bringing watercolor artists to our attention and reviewing the work. Thanks so much!
I enjoyed this so much! I have just joined his on line class and it was great to see another point of view. His art is amazing! His online classes are very well organized and very affordable. This review makes me even more excited to paint with him ! Thank you for your entertaining review!
I love Graham Berry, he is a magician with watercolor and people, thank you for highlighting him today .... And yes, he does have some instructional videos, very fascinating how he makes these paintings look so easy 💜❤️💜👍😎🎨
He is an amazing teacher too!! Showing us how to preserve the paper to express light. As well he is a master of letting the colors mix on the paper. Did you know he uses a limited palette? Usually in his teaching it is alizarin crimson, cobalt blue , Quinn gold, Windsor lemon, permanent rose and cerulean blue. I’ve produced some beautiful paintings from his classes online. Graham is second to none!!
I love this artist's use of color. You think in terms of light and shadow and temperature. I'm not that skilled of an artist, so I just see it as color. Graham Berry and Anne Abgott are my favorites of the artists you've featured. Thanks Liron.
I love using colors. I’ve pretty much committed to bold hues at this point in my work because even if I start light, I can’t leave it alone until the bolder colors are added.
Your enthusiasm is so recognizable. I was so excited too when I saw his work for the first time. So nice that you show us these paintings. How I would like to be able to do this.... If I may make a suggestion for another great painter of watercolor paintings that would be Hazel Soan. Do you know her? She also catches the light so beautifully in her paintings, but they are more impressionistic. Thanks Liron and keep up the good work! I love your vids ❤️👍👌
Wonderful paintings. I looked him up and he has a RUclips channel called Grahamberrystudios, watched him create a painting called Pauline looking out to sea. No sound but useful to watch his process. Thanks for flagging him up for us. His style seems very colourful with little in the way of grey or neutral tones giving his work a dazzling brightly lit feel with light bouncing everywhere!
Hi Liron! 🤗Thanks as always for your videos. How about reviewing Louise de Masi? She's a fellow Aussie and she's got a You Tube Chanel too... Beautiful, precise watercolors. 👌 I'd love to hear your thoughts on her work. Also, Yong Chen and Shibasaki... Both so skilled! 👌😉👍 kind regards, Mary from Australia 😎😁
I really enjoy this Masters series Liron, great job! I love Frank Franceses work and Graham Berrys... 2 favorites in a row. I nominate Artist Ellen Negley for consideration. I love her bold colors and illustrative quality.
Awesome vid love listening to your reviews one day someone might review me that would be so interesting to hear.. I hope these artists see your great vids xx
thank you for these videos. it is nice to discover artists. I would recommend analysing Alfiealpha's artworks. His watercolours are very different and unique!
The color seems like he just supersaturated a photo and copied it. Am I missing something? The technique, on the other hand, is breathtaking. I don’t think I have enough lifespan left to learn how to do that.

I agree with all you’ve said Liron. I’ve done Graham’s online course and he makes it very easy although a little repetitive but you learn a lot.
It’s like a very high chromatic look, like adjusting a photo or adjusting the spectrum, very tie dyed looking.

suggestion: Do you like the watercolor illustrations of Alan Lee?
Please Do a Zbukvic style Cityscape.
FYI he does a Facebook live painting every Saturday morning It is 10 AM here on east coast usa No idea when i would be in Israel

They are very vibrant ....but doesn't look natural...more drama and fantasy
