Hey Brandon, many, many thanks for making this video. It was a lovely surprise to see it! The filming, soundtrack, narration, editing, all of it is top notch! I feel more inspired now to get a move on with the UP S-6 0-6-0 switcher (yes, I'm still working on it, just very slowly).
Thanks for watching, I’m very glad to here that you liked the video. This is only the beginning and I plan to improve in quality with each new video. this of course is nothing compared to the work you put in to these awesome creations. Thanks for making them and I can’t wait for the s-6
1 quick clarification in the history lesson starting at 00:36: The 3900 class as depicted in-game did not exist before the Big Boys. What was there were the original Challengers, referred to as the CSA-1 and CSA-2 classes (not yet modeled, but maybe someday). The 3900s we're more familiar with thanks to 3985 were called "Heavy Challengers" and arrived on the scene *after* the Big Boys (the Big Boys showing up in 1941 and the Heavy Challengers in 1942). The Big Boy took everything great about the existing CSA classes and made it bigger. The Heavy Challengers like 3985 then took everything great about the Big Boys and shrunk it back down to a 4-6-6-4 wheel arrangement (You could say that 3985 and her sisters were "Mini Big Boys"). What makes it even more confusing is that the CSA-1 and CSA-2 classes were originally numbered in the 3900 range, but then were subsequently renumbered into the 3800 range beginning in 1944. That being said, great review!
Hello I recently got this engine and I can’t get it passed the speed of 29 mph no matter what I try even the 844 by smoke box goes faster but only to like 68 mph
@@louisianahighballproductio6954 ah very nice! One more question for you, how do you get the whistle to quill? The manual says spacebar return, I guess im not really sure what that means; letting go of the spacebar just makes the whistle stop blowing.

Thank you for the additional context, glad you enjoyed the video.
That was just the perfect video from any aspect that you can look at it. Thank you for the great work! Cheers to SmokeBox as well!
Thanks
We need more videos like this. There’s a lot of British reviews but not a lot of American reviews. Good work!
This is a very good review, one of the best ones I have seen for TS! Informative, well filmed, well narrated. Good job!

Great review! Love the detail of the interior of the old roundhouse at the beginning- what map is that from?
