You could really hear the despair in Trent’s voice as the darkness was creeping in, rain was falling, and fog was rolling in, as he couldn’t find the elk in his scope. The frustration, exhaustion and pressure must have been tremendous. Even after the boys were cheering, it didn’t quite settle in until they told him they watched it tumble and you could just hear Trent choking up in relief. I am so happy for you Trent. It takes a special person to keep it together like you did through the ups and downs of this hunt. The way you stay positive through adversity is a blessing for us to watch because you teach us how we need to stay positive to reach your dreams. You guys were my inspiration to make the 35 hour trip to Colorado in 2020 for my first elk hunt. Came close several times and think of that trip almost daily since. I can’t wait to make it back there again some day. Thanks for bringing us along.

Congrats on the monster bull. I think this is ya'lls best VID. I say this cuz of a couple things. First your faith and trust in God and how you and the core group show that trust and faith every VID. Second is to be blessed to have not only your brother but your dad there with you. Third, this hunt was very very tough, between the weather and distance and the shooting light and then you having trouble finding the bull in the scope and the rifle issues. I live in OK and we have a couple of small elk herds here. I drew a cow tag last year and was blessed to have my son along to help pack out. I would've given anything to have my dad with me, but he was called home couple years ago, but things he taught me meant he was with me. Trent, your VIDs are an inspiration to all of us who have an elk hunt on our bucket list. Keep the Faith and keep cranking out VIDs and again congrats on the monster. I had spotted a herd one evening and called him up to see if he had any urgent classes the next day. I filled him in on the details, and he drove 4 hours through the night to be there for the morning hunt. Long story short, he threaded the needle through an impossible "window" between tree branches, and miraculously connected a killing shot on one of the bulls. I treasure that memory like I know you guys treasure this one with how it came together. I love the brotherhood you guys always have, and how you keep that in the forefront of all your hunts! Consistently better than any tv hunting show I've seen. it isn't about playing metal music everytime you see an elk, or skipping to just the killshot. It's about the journey and that you don't always get rewarded. Love this channel and it should be well over 1 mil subs imo.

Consistently better than any tv hunting show I've seen. it isn't about playing metal music everytime you see an elk, or skipping to just the killshot. It's about the journey and that you don't always get rewarded. Love this channel and it should be well over 1 mil subs imo.
