The weight of them is extremely important to me, I have added weight to several of my babies. I want my babies to not only be realistically weighted but also to have not be over stuffed with poly fill, I want them to cradle/melt in my arms like a real baby does. I also want to have a head that needs completely supported when I hold them, that is floppy. Great topic, thank you! I have 3 out of 4 kids living with adhd and we are all suicide survivors from the suicide of their dad.
The heavier the better for me with my Reborns. That makes a lot of sense.
I had my Ashley Asleep made as a cuddly 4.5 pound therapy baby. Helps a lot when I have insomnia related to migraines. It really does help.

Baby Clara looks so cute in her little romper. I got a cuddle baby today and he isa different cuddle factor, I live him, he is also weighted so well that you feel that you are holding a real baby. ❤️🇨🇦
Weighted blankets are brilliant
I absolutely prefer my babies weighted. I recently got a weighted cuddle baby and was blown away of the difference between weighted and not. I just dont bond with light ones.

I have ptsd and anxiety and adhd I have weighted blanket and it helps me sleep and that’s why I have my reborns is for therapy and fill the hole I have I haven’t been able to have kids of my own

Hi Lynn! The weighting in a doll for me is very important, the sensory feeling how it moves! How it curls in your arms! For me as visualy impaired it's the most important factor with the sculpt as I can not appreciate the painting details as a fully sighted person! I've been reweighting some of my Amazon dolls, so glad I know how to do it now! Your little girl is gorgeous in her pale green rompers 🤩💖😘😘

Awww Clara is so adorable! I still haven’t been able to get a silicone, but it takes a little bit longer to save the amount of money that is needed to buy one. 😁 But I can’t wait until I will be able to get one. Weight makes a huge difference for me. If it’s not weighted, I don’t think I would have the same draw to them.
I notice that I tend to weight my personal collection reborns on the lighter side, but not on purpose. I guess I think the baby will be heavier than it usually ends up being, and by that time I'm too lazy to take them apart and reweight them. Same for reborns I receive from other artists. If they're heavier I just leave them. Rarely do I receive one that's too light for me. I guess my reborns' weight doesn't really bother me as much, because I moreso like to look at them and it is my silicones that give me that real baby feel with their soft squishiness and heaviness due to the natural weight of silicone. Silicones are my go-to for cuddling, so I don't fuss with my vinyl reborns as much.
Hi yes these reborn baby dolls ARE used for therapy 4 of my special needs kids have 1 each . they help with many issues.
Hello, I love my reborns...yes, the weight does have a lot to do with it. Plus the realism of how they feel in your arm's. Also the way that they are painted has a lot to do with it too.
When a person holds one of the reborn dolls it's a feeling that you won't feel holding a regular baby doll from the store.
I have Scout silicone cuddle baby. The best of both worlds. She's 6 lbs 11 oz wonderful to hold with BB body. Reggie bodies too skinny for me
She is the baby that I would love to have. I want a sleeping baby girl. I want one that is weighted. I have ptsd and ms and more. I am a natural redhead. She is so pretty and perfect!

I bought about 6 no weight dolls nothing compared to my one weighted doll my anxiety is nearly gone because I carry it around with me and sit it on my lap with me
