There is danger but so is most any job even with safety equipment. Typing letters all day gives you carpal tunnel. Heavy equipment falls over all the time. Only thing they could use is a safety harness but you could trip over it.
@@krg038it could be much more automated though. Like it's a bit insane to send two guys up there to do this. It's the kind of thing there should just be a button for. Maybe just send someone up afterwards to make sure it all drained correctly and do a little cleanup.
@@ninjafruitchilled there are several videos of this same process with different products. The rest of the process is automated with conveyer belts. Most of the time they are just standing there letting the product fall. Water moving the product and the giant bucket is automated. Watch other videos of people sticking there had under a moving metal stamp automated machine. In the USA automation is jobs lost, increased labor to maintain equipment and unions.

I would like to know where the rocks go after they are unloaded, do they go in to a stack on the wharf or are they loaded straight into trucks?
They go into a truck that then drives round and dumbs them back in the same place, it's a vicious cycle
