G'day guys I'm Kwackajack and believe it or not this is my first EVER time riding a Ducati, and it just happens to be a Panigale V4 race bike. Come with me for a scary ride through Brisbane peak hour traffic up into the twisties where I tame to tame the beast and not die on this absolute missile of a motorcycle.

First Ducati was a 73 GT rode that bike for 26 years. At 70 Ive had over 30 bikes so far, 7 Ducati's Still ride EVERYDAY. Just about to get a PanigaleV4 Cant wait!
Wow. I owned Ducati’s as well but at 51 I thought I was done with super bikes. Maybe I’m not after reading your comment.
So glad for you, KwackajacK that you've discovered Ducati Magic.
FWIW, at 67yo I'm finishing a glorius 45 years constantly with Ducatis, and am finishing by passing on my current Diavel Carbon to my son in Canberra. Many special times. My favourite Ducati was 2001 900SS. The Diavel was my fantasy bike after surviving cancer and heart attack, and it never disappointed.
Also FWIW the bike I am keeping going forward is my Ninja 400KRT - so rewarding and easy to live with.
Good review Jack! You definitely keep your audience engaged during the whole video, very down to Earth! Surely H2 next?
Hahaha, I'll do my best to get a hold of one
@@Kwackajackyou must! Lol that would be awesome
Where have you gone Kwacka?
Still around mate, just trying to get back to a place where I can post consistently. Have a lot of cool ideas for videos!
Getting mine 2023 next year in April as my daily. No other bike gives you this kind of thrill on every level. Also, the newer version are less hot. You should reconsider 😂👌🏼 Thanks for the review!
Yep. My Aprilia cooks you good. I never ride it in traffic. But open it up and the smile never stops. Yep, the Italians know how to excite and enthral the rider. Terrific review.
RIP to the lil ninja 400 haha.
Bro sell the Duc, buy 2 clapped out gixxers and put the remaining 35k toward something more beneficial in the long run
Impressive bike . I’m getting the Streetfighter V4s in December. Grey/nero.
Same engine.
It’s easier to live with , the cylinder deactivation and the fact it’s naked makes the heat a non issue, it’s warm but not dangerously hot like the Panagale. More comfortable by a mile and not far off the performance levels of the Panagale… far more than any non expert rider can use, even on a track!
I think it arguably looks better too. I’m biased toward nakeds. To me sports bikes look mostly the same… I mean they have to, it’s the most aerodynamic shape.
still though the Panagale is a work of art. The v4 platform is incredible and I hope more manufacturers move toward it for road bikes.
Awesome machine. That Red color is a delight to watch.
This was actually fun watching you 1st ride this beast. I have a Ninja 400 I picked up in 2020. It still scares me how quick I can move. I'm almost giddy thinking that I could get on something 5x more powerful. I dont think you even made it to 4th gear let alone 6th.
got a CBR500R myself, was certainly caught off guard how quick it was compared to my last bike it got my license suspended lmao, what bike do you plan to get next? I’m considering the new CBR600RR or ZX6R
I put it in 6th on the highway but this thing can probably get to 150k's in 1st alone. Mental machine
why is the italian bike got a french accent?
I was thinking the same thing 😂
Good point, it was confused
great review, if you get a chance to ride a panigale v2, i'd love to hear your thoughts on it
Bloody hell you went all out instantly didnt you lmao
Originally planned to take an 899, ended up with a V4
@@Kwackajack damn thats only about a 100 bhp difference😂😂
Awesome man
How do you think it would handle our beautifully hot queensland weather? Its a bike ive been looking at getting within the next year but queensland gets so hot at times 😅
I got an RS660 this year, she’s pretty warm at a red light, but not too bad once you’re moving around 60kmh if the weather is 23 degrees or cooler.
It’s wonderful in brissy winter (got a little heater at every stop), but now that it’s getting warmer I avoid high traffic situations and would definitely stay clear of riding in 30+ degree weather.
I’d imagine the Ducati V4 to be much worse since it’s double the displacement.
If you're travelling fast it'll be fine, slow around town riding in Summer would be tough tho
Thanks for the replies, ig its just price we pay to live in our wonderful state m good to know it can be nice in winter. I ride through the city everyday and would want it to be something I take to work a few days a week (I have secure parking).
Just wear leather pants, works for me on my V4S..
Hi Jack! is there a possibility that you could test ride that Yamaha R-7LA?
Working on getting my hands on one!
Omg you’re comments about medium well to rare got me lugging so hard 😂😂😂😂😂 but really thank you i was like so confused about the VR and the bmw Rs1000 and living in Saudi Arabia so I’m guessing that the bmw works better for the heat thing 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
The best beginner bike
Did you get past 3rd?
Had it in Top Gear in the highway, but through the mountains I don't think I went above 3rd
I have a 2023 v4s.. if u wear leather pants it solves the heat issue, and is much safer.. sometimes I'll just wear a flexible knee brace, just to cover where the heat will get me.. say if u don't want to wear leather. The bike delivers the power pretty smoothly and shifts like butter.. Awesome Bike.
Dont forget they have a qucikshifter ans auto blipper
Bro how hot is it planning get this bad boy
When will you post again?
Very soon
@@Kwackajack Awesome!!
Hey jack, when can we expect a new vid?
Mind blowing
I never understood why sports bikes are designed so tall. I figured down force would be terrible on a tall bike.
Lean angle, better handling/flickability into curves
@@h1h2h3h4jo But you're sacrificing speed? The higher the motorcycle's height, the more torque the center of gravity creates, requiring more force to push the motorcycle forward.
@@h.nguyen4193 true, there will always be some compromise. But track bikes are designed for high speed cornering and here the limiting factor probably isnt straightline speed/power/air resistance...
Damn, that's one sexy bike! I was grinning through the entire video. Barely got out of third. Wow, I'd LOVE to see what that baby can really do.
