They shouldn’t be called the Jets; they should be the New York Scapegoats - always blaming someone else. Bowles, Darnold, Wilson, Saleh... more to come!!
Greeny doesn't know what he's talking about. There is no way that those 36 losses were because of his defenses. They haven't had a good QB in years, and Aaron isn't the exception. There is no way Brady or Peyton comes into a locker room, and the offense doesn't improve. It will. But when Aaron, the offense doesn't improve, and we blame the defensive minded head coach? That's not even practical. Greeny, stop gaslighting.
This is why the Jets will NEVER be a decent organization. It's a circus, and the biggest clown is Johnson, as always. Hackett is clearly the weakness, and Rodgers is right behind him.
Even if Rodgers had time to throw, the offensive scheme is dated. Look around the league, receivers are wide open running down the field in many offensive schemes. Hackett's offense is terrible and has only survived because Rodgers has been a magician in the past. Now that Rodgers is mortal, the scheme is exposed for what it is. Saleh will land on his feet and be a massive success.
If they were gonna fire him after a 2-3 start, they should have just made a change before the season. They lost 1 game that they should have won, the broncos. Now I do think they should have fired him in the off-season. But they’re 1 game out of 1st place in the division. The season is not a disaster so far
Two things can be right at once: -Saleh WAS a bad head coach. - Rodgers IS a subpar quarterback who's been coasting off his Super Bowl 45 MVP resume bullet for over 12 years now. With Saleh gone, Rodgers now has ABSOLUTELY ZERO EXCUSES for failing to live up to the unmerited reputation people still bestow upon him. Best of luck to your favorite "fran-scheisse," Greeny...
Greeny you hit the nail on the head. As my mother often said, 'when a fish starts to stink, it starts at the head'. Ambassador ... LOL ... Woody Johnson has been a disaster since day one (2000). Poor Joe Douglas in his haste to get a GM job has compromised, much to his detriment, with Aaron Rodgers, the biggest maniacal QB in the league. There was a reason he wasn't picked until late in the draft, basically 'character concerns'. The guy just isn't a 'team' player. It's all about me, me, me. You reap what you sow.
The biggest problem is the offensive play calling, not Salahs coaching. Run run pass punt until you are so far behind that you have no time to run and you somehow crawl back into it. Go deep on first down once in a while, be unpredictable.
i’m glad somebody else said it. If you’re 20-36, did nothing with the number two pick in the draft, haven’t had a winning season in eight years and so far you don’t seem to be maximizing QB you just gave the world to, of course you’re fired. Coaches have been fired for a lot less than this.
To Blame Robert Saleh for the Bad management of the Jets is disgusting!! Just look at the Haason Reddick situation, that alone tells you how Dysfunctional the Jets organization is!! Then to add insult to injury, the Jets bring in the only Rocket Scientist QB in NFL History,Aaron Rodgers!!! Only player i know of with Rocket Scientist Intelligence, who did play in the NFL was Dr.Myron Rolle,a Rhodes Scholar who's a Neurosurgeon Now!!! Sorry Aaron Rodgers, you ain't that Smart, just a Arrogant Jackass, bottom line!!!
Saleh was fired for wearing that Lebanon flag patch. It was the first time he wore it this season and this is right after the conflict started. The moment I saw it I instantly knew he was going to get fired. That triggered Woody MAGA Johnson. Firing your coach the game before they play for the division is idiotic.
Rodgers throws 3 picks but that is the coaches fault. Rodgers brought his drama from GB to NY. Rodgers runs the show. Have fun NY. He got rid of Mike M. too.
That can be actually the coach's fault. If you're calling dogshit plays as the coach that set your players up for failure, that still falls back on the coach. Even if players turn it over, some blame still has to go to the coach for questionable playcalling. Example: Russ in the SB. He threw the pick, but Pete and Bevell should've never called that play
My issue with the mainstream media is that they have to speak on this, however their opinions are clearly being given without really paying attention to this team. Saleh has not improved the issues that the team had since he arrived. Unprepared, slow starts, PRE SNAP PENALTIES, it has all been the exact same for 4 years. The years before Rodgers and after Rodgers. This needed to happen. No point in waiting around when anyone who follows this team and has watched Saleh’s tenure knew that this was a failed hiring.
If you watched the Bill Parcells and Bill Belichek documentary. When Belichek found out that Woody was buying the team he was like heck no and peaced out. Thats a smart man.
Choosing a 40+ yr old quarterback off an Achilles tendon tare over a young upcoming coach is WILD. This team has no chance of winning a Super Bowl with A Rod. Management sucks there
The only thing that could have made this situation any more hilarious is if they would have elevated Hackett to head coach. That would have been perfect 👌

If players check out- and do so very obviously- they will seriously hurt their own reputation,- and in turn will harm their chance of being picked up by another team.

@@Paulafan5 two things can be true… but i would argue his record isn’t really his fault. he inherited the worst defense in the league and helped them become a top 5 unit in the league… his offense has had mike lefeur ( rams oc) developing it and it was literally torched for aaron rodgers and nat hackett… he was 7-10 in bacc to bacc years solely on the defense he developed… i would argue if it wasn’t for aaron rodgers his team would be better positioned and could actually challenge for a deep playoff run… first two seasons the offense was just developing, management proceeded to rush that timeline and acquire aaron rodgers who not only took up assets and money to acquire but also had specific requests of teammates and coordinators/coaches…
@@triggv602nothing is his fault right
I like the music you guys have playing in this video. It really set the mood
those 3 int he threw is the final nail
If Aaron threw 3 TDs instead of 3 picks & Robert Saleh still got fired would you still blame Aaron?
@@Daffy_C But that's not what happened. Why do you need to live in an alternate reality? LOL
@@stephanea5364 I didn't say it did. I was just asking a question
Saleh has sucked for years. Youre judging this based on one game you’ve heard about from tv analysis. You have no idea what you’re talking about.
@@Daffy_Cit’s a dumb question
They shouldn’t be called the Jets; they should be the New York Scapegoats - always blaming someone else. Bowles, Darnold, Wilson, Saleh... more to come!!
Even geno and Sanchez looked better once they left
Greeny doesn't know what he's talking about. There is no way that those 36 losses were because of his defenses. They haven't had a good QB in years, and Aaron isn't the exception. There is no way Brady or Peyton comes into a locker room, and the offense doesn't improve. It will. But when Aaron, the offense doesn't improve, and we blame the defensive minded head coach? That's not even practical. Greeny, stop gaslighting.
If Saleh can't coach offense at all, he shouldn't be a head coach. Pete Carrol was a defensive minded coached, but he could coach offense.
@@Paulafan5 Andy Reid does not coach the KC Chiefs defense. Should he not be a head coach?
@@johnbox271 That's a really dumb take dude.
@@Commish53 Not at all, as it is actually on point. Claiming a HC must coach both defense and offense is simply ignorant.
Aaron should be arrested for stealing. He is a spoiled "know it all" crybaby. He is overrated and over paid.
This is why the Jets will NEVER be a decent organization. It's a circus, and the biggest clown is Johnson, as always. Hackett is clearly the weakness, and Rodgers is right behind him.
Saleh was the weakness that made ARod look weak. Did it also with Zach
@@jctslice Saleh is not the offensive coordinator. He's a defensive head coach. He needs the GM to give him a good OC and QB to be successful.
It doesn’t matter who the head coach or QB is. The jets are destined to be bad forever. And I’m loving it
@@Steven-lb4bl Jets went to AFC Championship game with Rex and Parcells
@@GizmoMaltese big whoop
Even if Rodgers had time to throw, the offensive scheme is dated. Look around the league, receivers are wide open running down the field in many offensive schemes. Hackett's offense is terrible and has only survived because Rodgers has been a magician in the past. Now that Rodgers is mortal, the scheme is exposed for what it is. Saleh will land on his feet and be a massive success.
A-Aron doing A-Aron things. He's been this guy for 20 years.
Firing the HC for offensive problems that the HC tried fixing is so laughable.
If they were gonna fire him after a 2-3 start, they should have just made a change before the season. They lost 1 game that they should have won, the broncos. Now I do think they should have fired him in the off-season. But they’re 1 game out of 1st place in the division. The season is not a disaster so far
It is now
Two things can be right at once:
-Saleh WAS a bad head coach.
Old man Rogers is washed
Washed for sure
Greeny you hit the nail on the head. As my mother often said, 'when a fish starts to stink, it starts at the head'. Ambassador ... LOL ... Woody Johnson has been a disaster since day one (2000). Poor Joe Douglas in his haste to get a GM job has compromised, much to his detriment, with Aaron Rodgers, the biggest maniacal QB in the league. There was a reason he wasn't picked until late in the draft, basically 'character concerns'. The guy just isn't a 'team' player. It's all about me, me, me. You reap what you sow.
Open your eyes, Greeny:: Rodgers is 80% to blame for this.
Greeny has Rodgers nuts in his mouth
More like 99%
Karen is totally toxic.... LOSER!
Ambassador dip 💩 is 50%. Rodgers is 45%
@@TheUnatuber Karen Rodgers blows!
The biggest problem is the offensive play calling, not Salahs coaching. Run run pass punt until you are so far behind that you have no time to run and you somehow crawl back into it. Go deep on first down once in a while, be unpredictable.
Dont get mad at Lebron and be all for Rodgers. We call those people HYPOCRITES.
i’m glad somebody else said it.
He got rid of Mike M. too.
McCarthy firing has proven to be a good thing tho😭but Saleh got screwed
They can’t fire Rodgers
That can be actually the coach's fault. If you're calling dogshit plays as the coach that set your players up for failure, that still falls back on the coach. Even if players turn it over, some blame still has to go to the coach for questionable playcalling. Example: Russ in the SB. He threw the pick, but Pete and Bevell should've never called that play
@@jctslice yes but in this situation Aaron and Hackett have sole control over the offense.
The last game did not get Saleh fired. His record did.
We don't put Roger's in Bradys league...lololol
If you watched the Bill Parcells and Bill Belichek documentary. When Belichek found out that Woody was buying the team he was like heck no and peaced out. Thats a smart man.
Choosing a 40+ yr old quarterback off an Achilles tendon tare over a young upcoming coach is WILD. This team has no chance of winning a Super Bowl with A Rod. Management sucks there
His coaching record is 20-36 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Up and coming coach🤣🤣🤣 the dudes not a good head coach but he's a good D coach....
Blessing in disguise for Saleh
Oh look it's Kimberly who said that Aaron Rodgers didn't need pre season and that the Jets were SB Contenders 😂😂😂😂 HI KIMBERLY!!!!!!
Yes, she is so clueless
The only thing that could have made this situation any more hilarious is if they would have elevated Hackett to head coach. That would have been perfect 👌
Come on we all now this is Rodgers doing.
I agree because Robert probably wanted to fire Nathaniel Hackett🫵🏿
Never seen so much of an uproar over a coach who was 20-36 for a 35% winning percentage.
Ppl wanna blame the GM, blame Aaron, blame everyone but Saleh. But imagine u walking into a job interview for the head management position and saying if this company doesnt perform to standards, its not my fault u guys hire the wrong ppl, its not my fault i cant manage them and motivate, teach and get them to improve. Thats not my responsibility. So just keep that in mind. BTW i want the job and u should hire me 😂😂
that is definitely NOT what occam's razor is. the theory is that the simplest explanation is the most likely.
Pretty much what he said
That's similar to what he said but I
get your point
If Woody Johnson would not have told Saleh and the coaching staff that the Vikings game was a "must-win" then Saleh would not have attempted to fire Hackett after the loss against the Vikings. 7:05
What a shill. Greeny is up there with Skip on bad takes.
Greeny is the most ignorant person in sports talk history
The thing I wonder is : what about the locker room? I'm sure many players liked Saleh and are not happy. What will happen now, on and off the field? Will some player check out?
Rodgers is the team. 😆 Woody sold his soul for Aaron. A washed up QB.
If players check out- and do so very obviously- they will seriously hurt their own reputation,- and in turn will harm their chance of being picked up by another team.
@@ArizonaSquatch Saleh made him look washed
Depends on how the team looks offensively. Checking out will happen if the offense doesn't look better
@@jctslice Saleh made him look washed?
Ahahah Man, you,re a comedy at this point. Take that show on the road.
A 20-36 coach being fired isn’t a “life's not fair” situation
Aaron Rodgers destroying another locker room.
Rodgers is the biggest problem
The fact they dont know what/who wasnt the problem is yet another problem they have and dont know about.
I cant wait to see what the conversations will be at the end of the season will need to compare notes
I wish the Jets lose every game from now Hackett was trash last year and even worse this year and the fire a guy who had the defense top 5 every year he was here
Saleh lost his job and Kimberly kept hers. Incredible.
Two big reasons
Why is Kim here again?
why is any female discussing sports that they cannot play and would never be really interested in if the job did not pay better than average?
Don't blame Zack Wilson!😂
Im a Bills fan since 1988 and Hackett was the worst OC that Ive ever seen. How does he keep getting hired? Nepotism at its finest
actually his dad was the same way - keeps failing upward . something very Trumpian about these people
He gives Aaron great blow Jobs 😮
Saleh probably agreed to leave because of not wanting to deal with Rodgers.
Yup. Rodgers didn’t even show up to minicamp he thinks he’s above everyone
FACTZ.. as a coach if u have no voice in the locker room. Game over.. Rogers is the issue
“That’s why they made sidewalks because the streets aren’t for everybody” Andrew Higgins be giving some heat! I think he can give Shannon a run for his money lol
A Rodgers play is making Farve look better cuz he left n still balled out n didn't get coaches fired!! Him takin all those hits is what stopped Farve n matter how faulty he is, I mean Football A-Rod is jus a divo who doesn't show up fa Mando ta go ta A Dark PCP retreat
The amount of revisionist history in this is so bad I don't know how any of them have jobs.
“Dont we” Saturday had me cracking up
oh cut the spin everyone knows its rodgers who had a role in it lol
Greeny “this is not his fault” dude needs to stop sucking off Rodgers and open his eyes
Green Bay had an elite Quarterback for 30 years and won two superbowls. Two. The Jets expect to have an elite quarterback for one season and instantly win a superbowl
Saleh gets paid 2 more years on his contract about 5-7 Million$$ a year
Jeff Saturday is 💯 correct.
“Occam’s Razor” isn’t the most likely explanation for something is usually true….it is; when there isn’t a definitive answer, one should go with the simplest explanation.
I believe Roger's about having no part in this BUT....he has done it in the past.He shouldn't be so defensive it really doesn't make him look innocent.
Was woody communicating to saleh the things he wanted him to work on and saleh wasn't following through? Or did he just sit back, stewing, and fire him without building him up? Sounds like poor leadership from owner and reason why this franchise is always a disaster
Sit and stew!
Greeny is a Jets fan and speaks like a pure fan when discussing them.
