My latest acquisition was the Ruger Security 380 (for my wife). I love the way it shoots, and with 380 caliber JHP's, I am not concerned about carrying it. It is the perfect weight and feel fully loaded (15 rounds, double stacked). I'm glad now I didn't tell her it was for her!
Love your content, FireArmGuy. No glitz, no glam, just straight talk, and to the point. One of my go-to firearm channels.

Several years ago I bought my son a Taurus G2C for $199! I watched several review and torture videos before the purchase. It is a very good handgun. The trigger could be better (G3C) but it is very reliable.
I like the CZ and the Tisas, but I have not fired the plastic Tisas yet. All the best! Beretta Sr.

Any of the Ruger “Security” series handguns are great! I have an old Security 6 .357 Magnum and a won a new Security 9 Compact in a Ruger give-a-way when they 1st came out. Liked it and my wife now has a Full size Security 9. The Security 380 is on my target list, I’m 7 decades old so eventually I’ll be needing that easy racking and recoil.
Solid choices there. Max 9 is part of my carry rotation.

I bought my Ruger Max 9 for 269. I put an MCarbo trigger in it and it's now one of my favorite pistols.
I did the same thing with mine a couple months ago but got my short stroke flat-faced trigger from Galloway Precision. 👍
If you get a stoeger and have a hard time finding a holster a ruger sr9/40 holster will work 👍🏾
Good Info, pearlz... So many people buying budget Guns are first time buyers, then Holsters are the next most searched for thing as an afterthought.
I paid 390 squirrels for my Canik TP9SF Elite and absolutely love it. My son has many more firearms than I do and when he tried my Canik, his first reaction was, "Wow, what a trigger!"

@@thisismagacountry1318 I'll take my Walther firearms over Canik any day. I owned 3 Caniks and they were all ammo picky. That's unacceptable if I'm gonna trust it to protect my life. The ergos on Canik are doodoo, very chunky and top heavy. I will say I shot very accurate with them but that's with the ammo they liked. Everything about my Walthers is better than Canik.

Yep, the Walthers I've owned started with the PPS M2 LE (now sold for Bidenflation), the PPQ 5" Classic (with paddle mag releases) and my recent Black Friday purchase of the new 4" PDP-F series for my EDC.
All very reliable with any ammo.
Going to back it up with a Smith & Wesson Airweight in an ankle holster.
Plus, I don't like how the Turkish Tax Ministry backdoors money to terrorists from Turkish gun sales.
Aren't we at a great time when there are so many good firearms that we can all choose what we like?@@whatsup24_7

My CZ 10M took a little while to break in but well worth the money. Stoegers are great.
I'm always a fan of a good deal. You can have plenty of options for $400 in pistols and still be a dependable gun. More competition in firearms market is good for pricing. Always enjoyable 👍
I didn’t care for the gc3 because the trigger was a bit too spongy for me. The gx4 on the other hand…I carry it right now. Got it for $300, net $270 once I get my rebate.
As you know, I luv my budget guns. Bought the KELTEC P17 last year from PSA for 199 with free shipping. I own 2 Kahr's in 40 & paid around 200. I own many Taurus G2's because they were all under 200 since there were a lot of rebates. I plan to get the G3 & G4X & can get them new for under 200 from GB. I don't own a Stoeger yet but do own a SAR. Some of your other firearms I plan to get since I can get them for under 300, closer to 200, lol!

Rural Kings Prices on handguns are like a brick and mortar PSA. Taurus, PSA, and Rural King are common denominators for me.
The P17 is a reliable Ton of Fun.. serious smiles at the range!
The cz p10c and p10s can be found on quite a few legitimate websites for under $350. I don't think there is a pistol available that tops them for that kind of money.
My mossberg mc2c was 375. Love it.
Picked up a CZ P10M for $250 and it’s been flawless. Didn’t need it for a carry option because I use a Hellcat but I couldn’t turn it down for the price.
Stoeger is amazing. I just got the full-size with 2 mags, optics cut for $250. Boy oh boy it’s amazing

Ruger offers $100 mail in rebate for the Max9 and $50 for the LCP Max….you have to search for it in the paperwork that comes in the box, read the literature …it’s not outright offered….

Great chocie. I bought the very first batch of sniper green dagger. it was $349. sine then I have bought 3 more and a Rock. the other Daggers were on Daily deals. I bought an upper build kit that came with a lower dagger frame. I would buy a slide onsale for $125-$175 and have a complete dagger with a bling upper for less than $250. lower complete can be found for $49 and upper slides on blem or clearance for less than $150 . I also had a Ruger Security 9 compact which was a really nice buy

I bought a Tisas px9 gen3 duty model at a local gun shop for $286 total about 6 months ago. Came with lots of extras and 18 and 20 rd Sig 226 mags Yes, I do love the trigger, but this pistol shoots so good and just fits my hand so well that its hard not to love it. Pretty good list Dan.
I have all of them except the kel tec. I loved all of them!!
I have two G3c’s but am now carrying a G3XL. Definitely keeping the G3c’s. Still love them
Academy is listing the S&W SD9 2.0 for $299.99, sold out in NE FL. A month or two ago they were closing out all the SD 9s at at that price.
The security 380 is actually very nice. Fits well, easily storable and the trigger is very smooth.
Tisas PX9 and the Girsan Regard are also very nice, both smooth triggers, slide actions and easy to handle.
I would actually recommend the PX9 for a first time gun owners carry because it's very good out of the box and eliminates the need to "upgrade" to something nicer, since the trigger is Canik levels of good, has two chamber indicators so you know you have a live round, replaceable backstraps, optics ready, takes glock sights, and takes Sig 226 mags. Uber reliable too and accurate. One ding is you can't guccify it but who cares because you can get the nightstalker model with the lightening cuts
Get a P15 to run through its paces. Maybe even a SW SD 2.0. New trigger internals.
Ill be the one to say it today, Dan. I love my Taurus G3C. Its been my favorite among the Guns Ive owned since I bought it.
Definitely some fine choices there Dan. One that I used to like was the Remington rm380. There was a time when you could buy it for $200 and then with a $100 rebate it was a total whopping 100 bucks out the door. Those days are over. Plus with the new micro nines it pretty much sent my rm380 to the safe.
I bought a Ruger Max-9 a couple months ago for $309, have put around 350 rounds through it. Intended to use it for EDC. I have read several online posts about defects with people sending theirs to Ruger for repairs. Some saying they sent theirs back twice. Like everything on the internet I'll take that with a grain of salt, especially the "sent it in twice" posts. So far so good with mine, no malfunctions at all. I'm taking it to the range next week to put it over 500 rounds fired. My Max-9s biggest problem is that I bought a S&W Shield Plus a month ago and I like that gun a lot so the Ruger took the back seat. That's a personal problem 😁

I did send mine back for the take down window spring messed up. Ruger fixed and back to me I 7 days and have 1700 rounds thru it and no issues. They told me my issue would not stop gun from working but to send it in. I have had issues with several big name gun manufacturers but Ruger to me has the best customer service
Mine has been 100% as far as function. I hate the trigger though ended up replacing it with an MCarbo recently and it's sweet af now

I haven't tried the G3C but I have absolutely no complaints with my G2C and afaik they're pretty similar so I'm sure I'd like the G3C as well. Also like the GX4. The Ruger Security 9 and Security 380 are both nice guns at a low price. One that's not on the list I liked is the Buffalo/Burgu BRG9 Elite. For those who don't know it it's a Turkish gun, basically a Springfield XD clone. Shoots really well, 4 inch barrel, 16 round capacity in 9mm, 3 backstrap options to customize the grip. Includes a hard case, full cleaning kit, 2 mags, and speed loader as well, and only costs around $250.

Great video! I’m a fan of Micro handguns. This past year I picked up the CZ P10-M and Stoeger STR-9MC. The CZ was $250 and the Stoeger was $290 after tax. Honestly, it’s hard to find a new firearm that runs under $300 these days, especially a quality one’s.

Im a sucker for the Ruger P series
The Arex Delta is one of the most underrated guns out there. Everything about the gun is quality. You get so much value for the money. I can honestly say, it's possibly the best G19 sized option under 450 bucks out there. Mine has been 100% reliable, it will slide right into a P07 holster and it shoots straight and eats everything.
There’s a compact version for Tisas PX9 now. I think they call it PX9 Carry. The larger version takes Sig P226 mags and the Carry version takes P228 and P226 mags.
I've been carrying the Masada Slim since it was released. Best micro compact and I have them all except the Canik which I'm not fond of. The IWI is amazing it just won't malfunction period.
If I had to guess I would say that Dan's favorite gun Manufacturer is Kahr. I've never heard him promote or talk about any other manufacturer like he does Kahr. Not even close. I think he owns 10% of the company on the down low.😄😄😄😄😄😄😄
He knows good guns! I have had two: the very first all steel K- 9mm, and the last polymer framed PM9. Both have been PERFECT double-action-only SAFE pistols. These are the last guns that I would ever sell............................elsullo

I have the Ruger Security,380 it's awesome. Need d to step down to ,380 with aight rack do to Uncle Arthur Ritis. Tried the S&W EZ I didn't like it l. I really like Security .380. with some decent ammo. Underwood extreme seri Federal Punch, or Winchester Flat nose using a Paul Harrell inspired meat target getting pretty good penetration and not bad expansion with the Punch

We live in great times - decent guns for every budget.
You might want to consider the Taurus TX-22 in your list. And recently the Beretta APX series, with the rebates, fall into that price range.

Great selection! But this time you left out the SCCY 9mm pistols? LOTS of people find them to be very reliable. I LIKE the double-action-only trigger for utterly safe pocket carry: never cocked until the trigger is fully pulled back. My CPX2-9 is beautifully made and has a very smooth and not-too-heavy trigger. It seems absurdly low priced, but they have been making the same pistol for twenty years successfully........................elsullo

The Arex Delta Gen 2’s are great handguns. Like the M model so much I bought an L and another M for my wife. Changed the black frame to a Tiffany blue for her. Easy swap

There are certainly exellent affordable handguns out there and they're very valuable as purposefull non-collectible utility firearms.
Though from my experiece in trying to budget, I've ended up selling my "budget" guns when I should've been a little more patient saving to buy the one I dreamed of and saved money.
Years ago I sold a S&W Sigma and Taurus 24/7 and got the HK P30SKS I really wanted, knowing it will be a gun I would keep and be handed down to my kids.
What no Hi-point 🤣 great list of guns I would add the SAR9 and Sccy. I can hear the negative comments coming about the Sccy 🙄
I purchased my daggers one piece at a time. Got my frames first. Then waited for a slide I liked.
XD9 for $519 with 4 extra mags is a good deal. Glock 3’s around $500 are a good deal. Shield single stacks at $400 are a good deal. S&W SD9 2.0 at $299 is a great deal. Basically we are buying brand and rep those are worth a little more. Although CZ 10M at $199 last year is a screaming deal as were some Beretta APX1 for $299 last year. The market has been great if you watch for sales.
The Ruger Security 9/Security 9 Compact are averaging $250 right now at many online shops.
SAR9 is still a great value.
CZ P-10C is frequently on sale for $299 every other month or two.

Why buy a second-rate or unproven pistol when for a bit more you can have a great pistol? The P365XL with the P365 grip module is easy to conceal but is very reliable and has very good ballistics with the 3.7" barrel. With a thumb safety it is much safer to carry than striker fired pistols without a thumb safety like the G43X. Not a fan of the original P365 due to design issues, but the P365XL resolved those issues.

@@TheFirearmGuy in the short search I did all the websites show the CZ is unavailable or discontinued. PSA's website shows the standard 250 potato's Dagger is in stock but discontinued.
CZ P10 M is a great weapon, carries 3 more than a revolver only 3 less than micro 9s. It is extremely accurate. CZ didn't get it to the states from the EU before Sig and SA changed the landscape. People complain about the trigger, it is for safety and if someone can actually shoot with discipline it's great. Great deals can be found on them as they are phased out for bigger mag model coming.

I had Kahr CW 9 worst pc of crap I every had! I also had the CW 45 no probs, The 9 was sent back to them, they sent it back to me, it still had the same issues, mag drop during firing, also last rd slid never came back open! They finally sent me a brand new one after months of BS back and forth! Say what you will about Kahr, I think there junk! And there customer service was the worst!
