Easiest way to get 200 Mimic Skulls for the Horde Hunt Event! (FREE Killshot Skin)
So yesterday the last section of the Horde Hunt event became available to complete and for it we need to collect a total of 200 Mimic Skulls.
With-in MW3 Zombies this is a painful amount of mimic skulls to get as the best places you can find mimics is by either doing bounty contracts and hoping it actually chooses a mimic or you have to head around the map going to each of the different Infested Strongholds where you’ll find one mimic at each in the low threat zone and two in the medium threat zone.
This morning tho in Warzone with the playlist update they’ve enabled being able to find mimic skulls which in my opinion is a much better way to go about getting them.
So what you wanna do is search for games on fortunes keep, This can be any of the modes solos through quads and you want to be going for the eradication contracts.
So with this contract, You’ll start it up and it will mark a body which you can investigate which will lead you to a sort of infested stronghold location on the map. Once there you need to destroy the 5 cists and it will spawn a boss for the event whether that’s the armored zombies, hellhounds or as of this morning the mimics aswell.
There are set locations that these infested strongholds will be and each set location will spawn a certain type of boss, So it’s not random, certain contracts will spawn certain bosses.
The two locations we’ve found this morning for the mimics are at the very bottom of this tower at the terraces point of interest and in this little shack which is kind south east of the Winary.
So what you want to do is find and start the eradication contracts that are near those two locations so it’s pops one of these strongholds which is guaranteed to spawn a mimic.
So as an example we popped the contract that was just here in the courtyard near the gatehouse which pulled towards the lower section of that tower in terraces
& we also popped the contract at this building across from the lighthouse which pulled towards the shack just below the winery area.
After starting it you don’t need to investigate the body you can actually just head straight to the stronghold location and get to work destroying the cists
Each time you do one of these contracts and kill the mimic it’s going to drop 5 mimic skulls not just for you but also for anyone else on your team.
So all things going well you’ll be able to hot drop to one of these contracts near the infested stronghold locations i told you about and then smash it out and get 5 skulls within a couple of minutes.
After that you could either head to another contract if one is near the other location or you could just kill yourself to end the game and then jump straight back into another to keep collecting 5 skulls every 5 minutes.

Edit : Since this video was made they've activated double skulls & increased the drop rate of mimic skulls from chests.
The Fastest method is to jump into a game of plunder or the battle royale preview mode & loot as many crates as you can.

It’s not slow, I got 100 of them unknowingly just from looting a bunch of chest in resurgence. (I had 4 before they fixed it)

It's less time consuming in multiplayer than zombies but it is still time consuming
The best way for me was the Mimic playlist I got all 200 in like 4 hours is a pain but is fast you can get 6 or 8 even more in a game and Zombies is so slow to get them

Also spawn in loot boxes but are random between the bones hellhound and mimic skulls but you get 5 skulls or 20 bones faster than contracts in my opinion

Not sure if I'll bother with this one as the reward is only a 'skin' for ammo boxes... so there is no 'power up' benefit at all to this :(
Don't forget about the free skin you can get from collecting all 3 types of skulls mate
@@CovertMF I know but it's a mediocre skin which I would never use because the skins I have for the 3 operators I have are infinitely better... if it was an interactive skin it would have been a no brainer.

yeah its just a skin for the muntions box, nothing to exciting.
Mind as well do bounties in T1 and infested strongholds in T2 probably can get at least 15 in the 45 min match and go to DE after match to get more 🤷🏾♂️

In horde point you can get around 1.3 skull per minute
in zombies you can only get around 0.3 skull per minute and it's not optimal
I played horde point and i could get 50 each day without even tryharding just casually now i have +100
you can also get 100 a day just play 2 hours straight hordepoint
I’ve been playing horde point since yesterday. I’ve got 57 skulls. Hence why I’m looking. How do you get 1.3 skulls a minute I’ve played for hours
you need to hunt and kill as much zombies you can. Do not play the objective. See where the zombies are spowning and kill them. Also kill as much mimics you can. I finished all 200 mimics needed in less than 4 hours playing this mode. Much easier than zombies mode or other game modes. Good luck.

@@ShootingSportz use this new haymaker kit with tight spread in small map that is so good against zombies. couldn't find good gun for longer ranges but you can pick up those pack n punched gun that zombies drop they're so effective
I just play resurgence and find crates. Next thing I know, I've completed the mimics. It is much faster that way.
