I feel like this is maybe the Bee Gees most under-rated song, it hardly gets any radio play and most people have never heard of it. It's one of my favourites. Songs remind us of times in our lives and this takes me right back to uni as I'd taped it off the radio onto a mixtape I played throughout my first year :)

Barry's sensitive, sublime verses and Robin's emotional, heart-wrenching chorus is such a powerful combo in this song. Every time I hear song it deeply touches me, and I just feel myself wanting more of this and more of them - few songs do that to me (and when they do it's almost always the Bee Gees). I really wish we had the technology to preserved these three men forever, and never have to know a world without them in it. 😥

I can't imagine the pain and guilt he's had to live with having been on bad terms with each of his brothers when they passed away, although you could see how defeated he felt when he appeared publicly on a few occasions, and the fact that he fell into a pretty bad depression and pulled back from everyone there for a while says a lot. :( Thankfully it seems now he's finally found it within himself to forgive himself, mainly by choosing to live 'in the now' - in the moment, and realize that life has to go on.
This is the best song they wrote in the 90's and, definitely up there amongst their finest work... The depth and sentiment of the heart aching lyrics are mind-blowing. Absolutely superb. Totally underrated.

Everyone of their songs are brilliant and I watched their documentary about the story about their lives and it brought me to tears and I can relate to them with their story. And what made me fall to pieces was when Barry said that if could give up everything with the fame etc he would do it if it meant he could just have his brothers back in his life again and then I just broke down in tears
I saw that documentary too and thought that when Barry said what he did about giving up the fame and hits to have his brothers back, he brought it all home, you can not beat family regardless of fame and fortune. In fact you cant buy family love no matter how much fortune you have. Thought he was very truthful saying that. Respect.
Oh my gosh. This song is so beautiful. When I was a young girl, Barry was my favorite, however at 50, I'm rediscovering them and I realize that Robin is the absolute best. His voice is incredible. It almost makes me cry how beautiful it is. I wish I could go back to the 70's and relive their career all over again. So sad that Robin, Maurice and Andy are all gone. RIP beautiful angels.
A somewhat hidden Gem in that group (that's how I sometimes feel about Robin and his great voice). I am a new fan myself and watching everything I can find.
Theresa Lacey we don't know anything about Maurice, all praises and appreciation go to Barry and Robin, but not to Maurice. Was he perhaps the least talented ? Anyway he is integral part of the trio and his presence in the band is familiar to us and we cannot visualize the band without him. When we say a trio, it means the three Gibbs brothers and Maurice cannot be forgotten
I started listening to the Beegees day one. I am 77 now and drive my family crazy with listening to the Beegees. Ha ha, still the best group rmRobin and Maurice now singing with the angels no doubts❤

I was the same man, I am only 29 and I've got one kidney from birth. Plus other conditions. I've had constant problems with my kidney due to bladder issues since 5 years ago. I just saw a documentary about them which explained the hard time they had after their biggest successes. They even stopped performing, but after a while they started writing songs for other artists. They have written more than 1000 songs.

I was the same man, I am only 29 and I've got one kidney from birth. Plus other conditions. I've had constant problems with my kidney due to bladder issues since 5 years ago. About 3 years ago I suffered acute kidney failure and this song really captured the emotions and thoughts going through my head.

I just saw a documentary about them which explained the hard time they had after their biggest successes. They even stopped performing, but after a while they started writing songs for other artists. They have written more than 1000 songs.

My mother love them, and also this was her favourite song, I didn’t know it until the 16th of September, we all played it to her in the hospice and in her pain and suffering she still mouthed the chorus, she passed on the 20th it will forever be special to me and my family 🩵🦋☘️
