Bryant is possibly the greatest combo mind I've ever listened to. He's just so good at explaining and understanding what goes into sick combo decks. This is an epicstorm appreciation post
I mostly play Nadu and Leyline of the Void has been keeping me about 50-50 against Reanimator. The deck just doesn't have enough creatures they can cast to play around it vs swords. Its the end of turn Petty Theft into reanimate that gets me. I think I'm like 0% vs oops, even with leyline, maybe that's just my luck since I'm not playing force of will. It could be that I don't have the same issues with Mycospawn because I play mana dorks. But my biggest problem with Eldrazi is still Eye of Ugin. The synergy of Eye of Ugin, Sowing Mycospanw, and Kozilek's Command feels unstoppable.
Ban Troll of KD and Mycospawn and I think we might have a decently healthy and enjoyable format again. Keep an eye on Nadu but it currently doesn't seem to be an objective problem.
As a person that plays cephalid breakfast... I kinda often loose because of my own deck when I do Nadu stuff sometimes. We just need to have 2 bad rounds and that's it. Completely normal and is OK. The deck is still extremely good. The other versions of the deck I have no idea why they are not performing well. Maybe because reanimator is still the deck.
Tried playing legacy weekly for first time in 6 months. Playing against nadu and mystic forge makes for terrible play experiences. Watching your opponents take a 10 minute non deterministic combos is boring and not fun.
Mystic Forge is a fringe deck at this point. And you should generally concede to Nadu once they have the combo assembled. Watching them combo is a choice that you made.
@@boosterblader3209the fact that you probably should just concede against Nadu at a certain point does not make the deck any less obnoxious or toxic. It does not belong in the format, and criticizing people for venting their frustration against garbage like that deck is not a good look.
@@boosterblader3209 and it's the strictly correct choice for winrate and strictly incorrect choice for play experience, which is a dichotomy that should not be present

I think it would be nice if we knew who was doing the intro speeches. Like a little shout out in the description.
I think Rip Van Winkle did from how sleepy it sounded

The fact oops went from a meme to a legit top deck with MH3, and it's stupidly cheap is 1) really cool.
2) kind of terrifying.

Mmmn Good, Here we go gang!

It's worth noting that Nadu has three versions and the worst one is the only one that's really playable online.

I usually call em "yugioh turns" because a bunch of free stuff is happening for minutes on end.
@@patloboyko1164 It's Legacy... everyone is doing something toxic or obnoxious. I would look at Mycospawn or Kozilek's Command before Nadu.
