1. This man is a GOAT. I have followed him for over 5 years and applied his advice to my art. The results has one of my songs over a quarter of a million streams across platforms. I also write books, took his tips and made over $30k from one book after going viral multiple times on TikTok. Sean is the truth. Also, he needs to drop his workout routine 😂
Exactly. That'd be a good video. Like he's working out and telling us about his workout routine, while also talking artist branding and industry. I'd love to see something like that; a little out of the office experience with Brandman
I always said an artist's job is to explore & interpret life or the world & then use their talent to translate it for others who don't have those talents. You may not know how to communicate how you're feeling, or your beliefs or identity, but the shirt you wear & the music you play in public (or even to yourself) can help accomplish that for you. Man it's really dope to hear stuff like this actually said outloud from someone else's mouth because these have always been things I just thought to myself (since I'm crazy & have spent my entire life deeply contemplating shit like this lol) So basically you right now are doing that exact thing for me. Which is why when I met LaRussell the first thing I said was *"JUST WAS WATCHIN YOU ON NO LABELS NECESSARY!"* lol
I have the receipts to prove that I’ve been privately building a luxury brand as an artist for the past 2yrs. I even booked a 1on1 with Kohrey last year to discuss some of this… This is all truth. Tbh though Sean, with how much work it took for me to get to where I’m at rn (and of course I’m not done), I don’t think most up and coming artists have the tenacity and vision to embark on this journey. This requires serious brainpower, a lot of time, and a lot of courage; because no artists have built legitimate luxury brands, meaning there’s no specific blueprint for building a lux brand as an Artist. So artists have to be willing to sit down for years, and learn the ins & outs of entrepreneurship, luxury branding, and the music industry; and then figure out how to bridge those gaps in order to innovate. Thank you for this video though. I already know who I’m about to be and what I’m about to do, but I love when other experts in multiple fields confirm my work & research.
Gotta say Sean I really enjoy & appreciate the effort you've taken to relate to & understand the artist's perspective more recently. Obviously helps you do your job better but from the artist side it also makes it easier to trust what you say as well. You aren't just youtube guy you really work in entertainment but out of everyone in that space as far as media you strike the best balance. Most of these guys are either straight artists with fluffy nonsense, or straight business-minded people who you have to take with more than a grain of salt because you know they don't understand or care to understand the artistic side of things.
This is a great video thank you!! I'd love to hear you talk about styles of music that aren't so commerciable. Just because every single YT channel focuses on branding styles that could already have big audiences to focus on (i.e. pop, hip hop, country, rock) but what styles of music that don't have a name are the hardest to market to! Thanks!
Definitely give us more of these 💯 Tons of value, ive never thought about how to actually add value so I would've probably ended up going that free route due to my misunderstanding.

Nothing but truth. Best video on the channel. Much appreciated!
Hit that “That’s a Bar” moment. Turn that weakness into a strength.
