Anyone can do this for relatively “cheap” for what it is. Jb4 is like $500, mhd license is only $99. Downpipes + exhaust + bov + dual cone filter setup = couple grand. Add a little meth injection for say another 1000. You for nearly 450hp right there. After you smoke your stock turbo a new single is like 3500 then looking at mid 500hp. Injectors and hpfp’s are going to be high ticket items you will be replacing. I know you didn’t ask me but I’ve gone down this road myself. I had it professionally installed. These aren’t Hondas, wrenching on them yourself takes quite a skill set and a lot of torx bits and tools the average joe doesn’t have.

That’s true but I’m on stock di so hpfp can’t keep up sometimes going that high and rail pressure will drop a little too low so I short shifted slightly
What's your plan for the extra fueling? I'd recommend getting a PI manifold + 750cc injectors with either an AIC1(batch fire) or reflex(sequential fire) controller if it's in your budget.
@@silver_n5442 yeah that’s my plan just got some maintenance stuff I wanna do first but pi manifold for sure. Not sure which controller I’m gonna get yet though
@@3thurty5is oh gotcha. yeah man just wanted to let you know. i have a st n54 aswell and shifting at 7.5 instead of 6.5 makes a big difference. also love the channel and your car! mine is black also lol

Sorry I’m new to the 335i genre, came from mustangs, is the 335IS jusr the auto version or different ? I traded my 3v for 335i and it’s auto i was wondering if I can I get mine to sound like that with the downshifts ?
You can get it close with xHP stage 3 but I have a dual clutch transmission so it already does it

Are manual 335s capable of dig racing? My 335xi got left in the dust by nearly everything because it wouldn’t build boost unless I neutral dropped it probably (no I never tried this)
