- Is this the Roughest part of gloucester? I walked down St James street from Barton street just to connect to High street. I made my way through high street from the start to the end of the street and back.
just before i got to high street the police had given a chase on a guy with a moped and he was arrested. Sit back relax and enjoy the view guys.

You walked up and down the high street with you and your camera intact! Where does the 'rough' come in ? No mention of the great take away food, Smiling people etc. Please show the positive's as well . I have lived here for many years with no trouble!!

I lived there for 40 on years a Great place to be brought up
I was raised in Tredworth and this is not that bad
Yeah I lived on welch road it ain’t bad just don’t go out your way to cause trouble and you ain’t got one and most off the time it’s a great place
I lived in Morton valance in mid 80s Gloucester was great fun at the weekends out on the beer n clubbing
I've lived in Tredworth and believe me there is actually worse areas.
It's not as bad as people make it out to be. I lived on conduit street for 16 years and we never had any problems.
Definitely agree with you but Barton street is still just as bad but yeah more rough areas and the Gloucester park wouldn't even walk though the park at all now not worth it and I know someone people who live the optside Hempstead area and there not so friendly try not to judge but most people like to acted hard so they can look good I call them idiots but most of Gloucester Street s aren't safe and mostly every street have a nut case as a next door neighbor but yeah Barton street is still scary at times I know a few fruit loops down that street and even tredworth or even Matson but in every street most people aren't normal just my opinion most people like to acted tough big I am lol

i lived there for two months, i walked all over, mostly at night, isn't there a road called barton road that is bad? i recognise some places in the video..

I used to life about 3 streets away from this video. Wasn't rough our neighbours were amazing and there weren't ever police in our street for 15 years.

I lived on high Street for 2 year's and there was maybe 2 stab attack tops ha in Dublin it 100 times better.... Way more madness going on

Oh sorry man, I didn’t know that, my camera lens shows a different reflection of Gloucester. In your opinion it look like shi, in mine it looks great compared to some other cities.

It takes an absolute “tool” not to understand what “?” Means in a sentence. I live in the area too and my car was broken into 3 times, with valuables stolen. I have police report to show if you want to see. My first road bike was stolen in Matson and the second one was stolen in my backyard on regent street. So if you have nothing to say please stay away from your keyboard.
While you are at it please remind me how many times the shop opposite the pub has been raided and boarded up by law enforcement for drug offences. Although my very good friend has taken over one of the stores and he is doing very well for himself and giving life back to the place.

Lol secondly I've had 3 bikes nicked out of my garden when I was living in Longlevens and had broken into twice in Hucclecote. Not had a single problem in this area lived here for 2 years now. I'm guessing you either leave stuff on display and have very poor security AND/OR have some enemies. Don't blame the area lol that's what a tool would do 👍. If you find it that bad, move pal.
