she gave her ideas very well and very naturally. Although the questions are short, she could answer fluently and develop her answer in many directions that make her answer so close to the questions. The topic is close to life, so there will have a lot of things to talk and it will require practical knowledge from candidates. And she did it very well because not only did she answer spontaneously, but she also had a lot of practical knowledge.
I love how relaxed the examinee was. I think it takes this type of smoothness and a relaxed articulation to gain a band 9 score. And the examiner was also quite clear and seemed to be observant to let her finish and maintain a calm delivery. This kind of esteem is what we want in a test. God bless the future takers.
Her use of simple yet well-articulated English is the ideal. Anyone with two ears can understand her. I applaud all English language learners for their willingness and diligent study.
She is such a good speaker. I want to speak like her someday. Feeling confident and comfortable in her own accent, speak calmly, and understand what to say very well.
Good job! She is prepared for the exam. She is quick to give simple, organized but well-thought answers. She also maintained a good flow of dialogue by avoiding mouth fillers, awkward silence or hesitation as much as she could. In part two, she produced good information density for each of the answers. Overall, she marvels at articulating thoughts by stacking up multiple layers of information and linking them by simple connecting words and phrases. Thanks for sharing!
That means only one thing, she memorized all answers. It doesn't look natural whatsoever. So many collocations that are very difficult to use in a single speaking test.
@@ViajanDOS78Spot on! No doubt, the teachers wrote the text, she memorized it. Then, they had several rehearsals, and - voila - an excellent result. But I do appreciate their job and say thank you, because they've just shown us what kind of answers will get this much desired 9 band.
I’m so inspired with how foreigners pick up English so quickly. I’m learning Russian right now and I’ve been at it for a month and I’m barely past the greetings and phrases for ordering food LOL This young lady did a great job!
Don´t be too hard on yourself. Russian is a far more complex language than English. It's a step up for you to learn Russian, but a step down for them to learn English.
As a math student, i'd love a teacher crystal clear and trustable like this man. A professor that can see your thoughts and surf thru it with respect and patient. Sadly its a lonely path....
Despite others that try to use more and hard vocabulary in order to obtain higher scores, she used extraordinary words and she won. Because she managed well to put them together and fluently let it out in sentences. Far out! I wish I could do the same without any pauses. Best of luck for her. I also hope someone like this bloke will be my examiner :)

My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Thanks to the author of the channel for this interesting video! Good luck to everyone who studies a foreign language and wants to realize their full potential!
This was rehearsed, the woman was able to answer all the questions immediately and it seems like they were pre-prepared. And I would ask him if he speaks any other language besides English. Was this also an audition for an English language teacher?
For everyone thinking it's a real test, it isn't. It's an already written and well prepared answer. There is an another speaking video with same questions and same answers by same interviewer but different interviewee. It's okay to be nervous and strut sometimes as we don't know the questions prior like the person in the video, so don't think your English or pronunciation is bad by watching this video.
Man, she just learned a fancy well written speech and rolled it out for the video. Her syntax is too textbook with respect to real daily talking where people would never speak like that. If this is what it takes to get a 9 i'll basically learn the buzzwords and expressions then recite trying altogether to meld them in with the needed answer
Wow this lady is practically amazing. I love her flow of ideas n construction of English. She speaks with fluency. She really deserves a band 10😅 I'm obviously listening to this almost everyday as I prepare for my speaking test. All the best to me.
This person conducts the interview very well, 10 points on the way he conducted the interview. I speak four languages, but English is my primary language now, but I do use the other three languages as well.
Hello teacher. My name is Alexandre Araújo de Carvalho. I am 35 years old. I am from Brazil. I have been studying English for three hours. Thank you so much.
I myself am an IELTS trainer and I was awarded a 9.0 in speaking in the official exam. I know from my contact with an official examiner that 9.0, 9.0, 9.0, 8.0 is rounded down to an 8.5. To get a Band 9.0, you need four nines. This lady did speak remarkably calmly and confidently, but it is extremely unlikely that any official examiner would award her a 9.0 for this performance.
Whatever her pronunciation is, her accent is, she is really obsessed in speaking English with her surrounding people, I think. That's why she is quite consistent while speaking. She doesn't make sudden pause. She really inspired me, what I need to do to be consistent is only pracrice. 😌
the examiner is the best and well-mannered. I think this real IELTS speaking test was the purest because this lady explained the main facts about the internet very easily. The sounds of this test were very clear, I heard all the words and vocabulary very nicely and the examiner was so polite, his behavior was very good. also, I found some new techniques on how I should give the answer in a nice way, and also now I know how to make the examiner happy with good speeches.

I just came here to get some ideas for my new RUclips video. I got 8.5 out of 9 in ielts speaking , not just once but twice in a row 👩🏻🏫. I wish everyone the best of luck 🍀.
8.5 or 9? To me I feel it would be 8.5. Yes, but she is really fluent in English, lexical and coherent replies, perfect examples 😂never mind she deserves a 9.I just wanted her to reply "good morning" when the examiner greeted her.
So the key is give an idea and explain them in a simple language. Alternate some of the word to their "more academic" synonims whenever you can, but avoid selecting fancy words and constructing your sentences around them. Good one
The test is not hard but the fact that you are being tested gets you intimidated sort of and makes you hesitant while answering which will lower your score.
Good example to prove that English speakers don't care about accents and minor grammar mistakes is acceptable. As long as pronunciation and vocabulary are good, content is clear structured and the answer is on the spot. but to master these skills is much difficult than to master an accent...
As a native British English speaker, I would say that the accent does make a difference. I have learned over time with my own German language learning journey, that pronunciation is really important. So while I partially agree with you that English speakers don't care about accents, I think you are also incorrect. Of course you are right in that they are different, but articulation and diction are incredibly vital in order to excel in speaking with clarity.
As I have watched a number of videos of high-score speaking candidates, I think the best way to deliver a nice performance is not to consider it a test anymore but a chance to discuss opinions. It should be less tense and more natural that way.
I think she is an 8.5 or even 8, not 9. She did make some mistakes with the accent (she said "conSEquences"), the /I/ vowel (she said "sence", instead of "since"), use of preposition (she said "aware ABOUT" instead of "aware OF"). Her choice of vocab was not that varied and complex. 8 is native fluency and accuracy but 9 sounds really natural and sometimes give you a "wow" feeling without realizing that she is speaking English.

Good example to prove that English speakers don't care about accents and minor grammar mistakes is acceptable. As long as pronunciation and vocabulary are good, content is clear structured and the answer is on the spot. but to master these skills is much difficult than to master an accent...
