  • This video is about separating young Lophophora babues from the mother plant, and then stettling them in a pot of their own.
There are 2 named species are L williamsii and L diffusa. 3 Proposed specie additions are Lophophora diffusa var fricii , and Lophophora var koehresii, Lophophora williamsi var caespitosa.
    GROW N CARE
Grow seeds in a sandy porous compost in a communal pot. My mix is generally 3 equal parts of perlite, grit-small stones, and soil. Keep seeds moist and humid with good light, but avoid direct sunlight. Move seedlings on at least after a year into individual pots, and gradually introduce them to normal cactus conditions.
Care - Treat them like your cactus species. Water regularly in the growing season, but very little in winter. These cacti can take very hot weather, and as they grow older, do expect them to reproduce. Remember small plants grow faster alongside their mother plants: do not be over zealous to re-pot.
