Both Corgan and Reeves have their own custom pickups, the Koffin has Railhammer Chisels. They classify Reeves' and the Chisel pickups as humbuckers; Corgan's are a variation on what they call "humcutters", which were originally designed to give a P90-like tone. The Spacehawk is a semi-hollow, it just has a "sealed body for controlled feedback". Really liked these guitars, thanks for doing this video.
He lacks the requisite 3rd degree tan , and odd , native American/ homo erotic, leather tassel around his bicep- other than that , I still don't see it.
The pickups on the Billy Corgan signature are also Billy Corgan Signature . They are Railhammer humcutter signature pickups . Actually , they are something like noiseless P90s . railhammer.com/products/humcutter/billy-corgan-signature-neck/
None of the ones you played. I have a Tricky Gomez. Always admired his playing. & that he had a hand in designing it, well, that sold me! Any of the Pete A's I would consider too. The tele or the rockabilly box. Oh oh, & that new Gregory Kochery tele.
Check out tommy koffins band the koffin kats. They're a psychobilly band (mixture of rockabilly and punk) and they're awesome. I've seen them once, they played a great shows and they're cool guys too. Very friendly, took the time to talk to fans and signed all my stuff. I love the koffin kats!
The BC SOUNDS really nice, but got to say, maybe the ONLY, singularly ugly, Reverend. The RG is damn nice all around, but the TC is more what I think Reverend's are about; each optimally, does one thing really well,- it's a Rawk guitar, which does have some versatility with the pups, which Ryan just wasn't aware of.The "contour" knob should be on every guitar made henceforth,- will make it go from PAF ,to P90, to Tele bridge (seven & a half K ish). Don't understand why Reverend isn't ruling the market along with Fender.Clearly built and made to play, and at a reasonable price point , especially for something solid all around, out of the box.
I love my Spacehawk. I may switch out the pickups, as the RG's are a tad hot for my taste. Although I've found that using the lower gain input on the amp comes closer to what I want.
Man, that is one seriously beautiful guitar! Edit: I've subbed and belled, watch all your vids, would you buy me one? That seems fair, right? Meaning the first one, btw.
I kinda liked the looks of the first one, but honestly, I'd rather buy an "SG" type (from ESP or even a Harley Benton, not giving Gibson a single penny ever). I don't like the shape of their offsets and altho I am a fan of Billy Corrigan, that signature they made with his name on it just doesn't speak to me. So, short answer: I would buy none of them. Sorry Tim.
You asked for rude and nasty comments, so... Ryan, your a deceiving liar and a clickbaiter! I came to this video to hear the, 60 cylce, Tone hum, comparison and you're playing humbucker guitar's. I'm going to unsubscribe, man! (please don't check if I did) Jokes aside, nice video as usual and really nice guitars. And if this comment inspires you to do a video on tone hum... I, probably, won't see that one! Sound really annoying just typing it. Keep up the good work.
I own the Billy Corgan model and it is an outstanding guitar.
Reverend guitar's are top notch IMO.
Can you do a segment on that guys hair do? I have many questions.
Bruce Hewat seriously
When I read this comment, I was like "there's nothing wrong with Ryan's hair"...then I saw Mr. Man in the background...holy hell. lmao!!!
@@JackTheRabbitMusic TERRIBLE! EEEWEEEEEOOOUUUU!
Nice Misilou. The red sparkle is my flavor of choice 🎸

I was a bit partial to the Billy Corgan model, it had nice twang and surf tones.
I have the silver flake Tommy Koffin Signature. It is a metal monster. I love that damn thing.
Dog the Bounty Hunter seemed fascinated with the Reverend booth
lol!
Fucking 'bounty hunters'! When a country's police force has failed in crime solving!
He lacks the requisite 3rd degree tan , and odd , native American/ homo erotic, leather tassel around his bicep- other than that , I still don't see it.
The BC signature really does have great sounding pickups. Lower output and twangy. Makes sense as he was always a strat guy
The Spacehawk is a total winner, in the semi hollow class.
My credit card is calling me.........must....resist....!

What just entered at @7:14?
i was going to change the channel the moment i saw the red beard and pineapple shirt, But, I stuck with it and Im happy i did. Great demo
Spacehawks are awesome.
Indeed.I have a gold one, perched on an old stand, with a bit of newspaper under it..
That hair at 1:40 ... VICTORY!!!
Red sparkles for me!😁
Finally a channel with Reverend guitars, just not the ones I have wanting though.
sorry, lol.
4:29 was that from some song or just you jamming?
Man, to my ears, that first fuzz tone on the Billy Corgan guitar felt like somebody put chalk in my mouth...hahaha!! Brutal.
man I wish they made a Billy Corgan model with a rosewood fretboard!
That silver burst on the left bro !
I want a king bolt and a 6 gun.

GRISTLE!
Tricky Gomez is a made up character 😂
what about the bob balch?
I love Reverend. Someday...
you can just bend the armup and keep the soft spring, a tall spring would ruin the feel of the guitar
Am gold I’d say none of the above and go for the super rev 69 cause I like the “thrush” or “Super bee” logo thing 🐝👏🏽🤘🏽
They antibiotics for that!

I agree the corgan is pretty ugly. im not into the pickguards at all.

Consider Reverend's Sensei model. SG-esque shape, set neck, 24.75" scale, different models with different pickups
