  • Another great trip with family and friends. Had excellent weather and we enjoyed doing fins n things, steel bender, chicken corners, lockhart basin, top of the world and kane creek. We also bombed around in my Brother in Law's side by side on fins n things and hells revenge. Like always, a fantastic trip!

    Insane video! What's your set up on the Jeep? 33's and lockers or no?

      Howdy! I used to run 33's but have been on 35's for a few years now. 4:88 gears, yukon grizzly locker in the rear and Detroit trutrac in the front. a front locker is something I am planning on doing. other bits: she has a tummy tuck, Currie Antirock sway bars front and rear and a bunch of other stuff. Glad you enjoy the video!

    Is this the Jeep that’s a manual with 4.88’s with Torsens front and rear? I wrote down your build to copy lol.

      She's an auto. 4:88s and it used to be torsens front and rear but now it has a custom D44 in the rear with a grisly locker.

      @@slobert1970 ohhhhhh nice! I’ll add it to my notes, I ABSOLUTELY love your Jeep. So much I went out and bought a 2005 hahaha. I’ll probably never put bigger than 31’s on it since it’s my DD but one can dream. Stay safe out there!

      @dad3562 no shame in 31s! I bought a cheap 4x4 99 ford ranger a few years ago for camping, towing jetskis etc. Last summer took it on a few wheeling trips and was reminded how much fun you can have wheeling a more basic rig. I kinda want to buy a yj and keep it stripped down and light on 31s. Saw one the other day and it just looked so right. Glad you enjoy your jeep and I'm stoked for anypart I played in inspiring the purchase

      @@slobert1970 nice!!!! Yeah no joke on 31’s. I went off-roading with a Gladiator that was lifted on 37’s and he kept getting hung up and stuck a few times, my jeep on 31’s cruised right through and over. I also want to get an old jeep that’s all stock as well. Yes thank you for the inspiration!

    Are those 35’s? How much lift do you have? I swore it was 2.5 with high fenders.

    • @slobert1970
      @slobert1970  Год назад

      I ran 2.5 inches of lift with torsens and flat fenders when I ran 33's now its 4 inches of spring lift plus a 1 inch body lift to do a tummy tuck and it's got a locked d44 in rear and running 35s now. It was a better all around jeep on the previous set up but is a better trail rig now
