It's a late reply and hope you're completely healed.
You'd need an able bodied individual to show what your trying to achieve someone with foot drop couldn't perform them properly and may not demonstrate the technique vividly.

Dear Dr. I have only one doubt during the whole video, I noticed you are wearing socks on working leg and non-working leg is a bare foot. Am I right or wrong correct me if I am wrong but I noticed at time 3:07 and 3:53 bare foot has been mark as working leg. Shall I take the exercises during and afterwards time 3:07 and 3:53 are correct to do with working leg. Please help and response.

I had severe foot drop suddenly after prolonged kneeling and sitting on leg for hours(floor instalation)
Initialy i had not lift my foot even one mm
After 10 days i restored full range of motion but i noticed there is not full power like before, when i put weights around 10 kg's on foot and try to lift i only can do few reps
Will my muscle power restore fully if i keep exercise?
Now is 2 weeks when problem started,i regulary followed your video ,range is there but power is not fully restored.

If I can walk barefoot slowly, can I eventually go back to wearing the shoes I want to without needing an AFO? I haven't tried walking in shoes without an AFO yet. but I think the feeling when walking barefoot or with socks is different than when wearing sandals. Or I think walking with sandals might feel more unstable? Like I have to push my foot down into eversion. and with sandals I feel like my whole foot will flip over.

When I see somebody dorsiflexion their foot up and down and I realize I can't do that very well at all I become a little depressed and then my depression turns into anger and I want to bite their big toe off. Eye of the Tiger I guess just really makes me want to get better also. But I don't really want to bite their toe off but it just feels good to say it. I don't know where their toe has been or what they've stepped in that day so that's absolutely probably a bad idea.😁🍒👍🏼

Fully subscribe with full notifications. Your content is great, but in this particular example, the root cause is not realistically demonstrated in the movement prescription. I had foot drop and had motor neuron impairment due to anterior compartment syndrome. I had lost nerve conduction and hence ability to initiate a contraction. It was years and years of diligent attention while I walked with compensatory gait to correct my gait as far as possible in my daily activities. It was a VERY gradual and tedious process.

Hi Ankit! That is a tough question. Foot drop is not a diagnosis in itself but is a symptom of some other problem. It is hard to say if there is a "treatment" for your condition as I do not know what that condition is. I will say, that these videos will help to improve your balance but they may or may not improve the strength in the muscles that lift the foot.
