@@MacenWLacking a complete 13 episode run, airing the 2 episodes out of order and (apparently) not airing the show in all of their markets likely contributed to the obscurity. It doesn’t matter how big a celebrity attachment you have when the network puts forth minimal effort.
On the topic of the last solved mystery: Would you think that it's likely that the plush was bought second hand and stuffed into the crane game just for the owners? There have been plenty of those crane games that don't have much in the way of official branding or suppliers, so it's possible that the owner jeust went into a trift store and bulk bought stuffed toys.
this is 100% possible. in china, they give away prototypes at second hand stores and whatnot- it costs more time/energy to destroy something then just get rid of it to another entity. it's a security issue to be sure, but it's not that infrequent. especially a lower-brand company like kellytoy, im very sure it's possible this could have happened- they really don't care lmao. but also, one last thing, the tag being different (in the crane game photo) doesn't actually prove/disprove anything; prototypes can have any random ass tag. but again this is speculation 🤷♀️
also quickly i think it should be said that kellytoy isn't an upstanding tight company in any way, being that they sell unlicensed copycat products (look up splatoon kellytoy for one example). they sell carnival toys- quality and security are not their priorities. another instance is the chimchar plush. i can't be sure- but i think this is a jakks plush- 100% never intended to be in a crane game (as far as im aware). it's bizzare and weird and i think the "bought in bulk at thriftstore" concept has some creedence.

An interesting piece of lost media that was found semi-recently that I don't see all too many people talking about (the LMW page for it hasn't even been updated yet) is the original intro for the 2012 Nicktoon Robot and Monster. It was shown to the public in a late 2020 Robot and Monster Q&A that one of the creators of the show, Dave Pressler, did on Instagram. On top of that he also showed off a previously unknown animation test for the show that was made to pitch the show to Nickelodeon. Pretty big finds.

I know I may be the only person that remembers this, but there was a bump on Nickelodeon in about 1998 or 1999 where it would transition into the Angry Beavers, there were two kids, a boy and girl, just voiceovers talking about Dag and Norbert, saying “dam” over and over, saying things like “too bad they do all that dam fighting” knowing full well the play on words. Thought that nick was bold for that and never saw it since that day
I really hope one day the Jimmy Two Shoes pilot can be found! ..... also I wish a season 3 or a special would be made one day because I miss that show so much!

Hey- I'm part of the team watching the 1,000 VHS tapes for PMC! Unfortunately I'm separated from my batch for a few months, but a *lot* of what I had was turning out to be recordings of westerns, the Mickey Mouse Club, and random made-for-TV movies that aired on stations like NBC. I'm not giving up, no way, but I'm beginning to worry that something like PMC wouldn't fit the recorder's profile. Not sure if he would've watched something like that! I did find a lot of awesome old commercials though, like this one for the '89 Corolla: ruclips.net/video/amLvnnO1KiY/видео.html
Glad to hear that something was found. Lost commercials are always interesting to me because they are some of the only bit that almost everyone has seen.
I know there’s a angry beavers episode where they’re cuffed together I saw it as a child my grandma had a huge vhs collection and it was on it… only the details are different, what I remember is as follows: Daget mail orders a magic kit and tries out the leg cuff trick with his brother, magic trick doesn’t work, they check the back of the box and it says “key sold separately”, so they order the key and try to live there lives best they can while waiting for it but have a hard time with it, things turn sour when they try to do more personal things like taking a shower or using the toilet, a fight ensues at the kitchen table and they both grab the chain and use it to slam one another into the furniture destroying it, then they literally slam each other up the side of the wall and onto the ceiling where they then look down like cartoon characters and gravity brings them crashing down onto the floor, they lay there panting as the package is delivered and they get out of the cuffs, witty banter ensues and they toss the key just to get stuck in the cuffs once again, and fade to black.
@@dillonklasse4980 I just looked up the episode list, and cant find an episode that fits this premise. I think this might actually be the episode. You might wanna try to dig up that VHS if at all possible.
@@Saber0003 wish I could, as mentioned it was in my grandmothers collection and as soon as she passed my grandfather packed her possessions up and shipped all her belongings off to goodwill. If it still exists it might either be in California (LA) or Arizona (lake havesu)
@@dillonklasse4980 Dang, thats unfortunate. I'm almost positive this is the lost episode, and I think maybe the big reason no one can find it is because they're looking for an episode that fits the fanfiction mentioned in the video.
I swear I've seen the Cuffed Together episode after hearing him describe it. The conclusion that it's a hoax hits me with some Bernstein/Mandela vibes. Wonder if there was another cartoon with a similar plot. Would've been 2001 - 2005 airing on German cable, either SuperRTL or RTL2.
I swear that Spongebob “deleted scene” was real. That’s one Mandela effect I’m holding on to. May not have even aired. I remember seeing it on the Halloween special VHS. Anyone ever looked into that? I don’t have it anymore but maybe it could’ve been on that since it’s a home media release.
Need you help y’all- thumbs this UP dude this is driving me crazy - back when bionicle 3 web of shadows was coming out, Miguzi on Cartoon Network had a contest and one of the prizes was a “unique life sized lego vizorak” it was green and massive. You have the means of tracking this down right? This is something I’ve never seen anyone talk about.
I distinctively remember an episode of the 2 beavers stuck together with cuffs airing here in Chile. What I specifically remember is that I found this show boring because there was too much talk (I was 4 probably) and in particular in that episode it annoyed me that the cuffs were so big that the beavers' hands could have easily slipped off, every time I think of that show I remember that one image of the cuffs
I assume this theory already exists about the extra Angry Beavers pilot, but I think of that type of plot as very common. It's not hard to see the mental imagine of Norb and Dag handcuffed together, because a similar series of events showed up multiple times, from many other cartoon series. I also picture this happening in a typical episode. Not that I think I saw this pilot, but that it's just a regularly aired/reaired episode. People could easily mistake their legitimate memory of a real episode, with a fabricated story about the very same plot.
imagine just taking a trip down to the local thrift store and coming across a ultra-rare,gold-plated gameboy advanced SP. the kind of stuff you can find at these places are astounding and i honestly feel like i should be visiting mine more, just incase something really cool just happens to be there for a few bucks.
Huge Fan of your Channel and enjoy discovering pieces of lost media especially within Animation founded or still being looked for that can be hopefully later found for everyone to enjoy. I'm a journey to see the Overall History and even Episodes of the Beloved Japan Game Show Classic " 筋肉番付 ( MUSCLE RANKING )" that aired in Japan from 1995 to 2002 that hasn't been broadcasted outside of the country for years. It'll be great if you can do a Future Episode about " 筋肉番付 Muscle Ranking " and someday complete a journey for everyone getting to see all the episodes especially for the SASUKE/NINJA WARRIOR FANS since it helped launched the beloved worldwide classic of today. Thanks very much and keep up the great work.
Well I learned something unexpected from this video. That clip of the lost media wiki talking about the baseball game. I didn't know there was a game broadcast before the Dodgers/Reds game.
Hi! I'm a doll collector, and I can say that sometimes prototypes and samples for dolls (and dolls that were mid production, but ended up being cancelled) have been found on aliexpress, taobao, mercari, thrift shops in Asia, etc. and normal peopla can purchase them, since (sometimes) employees of the factories put them on sale for quite cheap. I would say that considering everything I've seen, I wouldn't rule out a plushie ending up in a random claw machine, even across the sea. It's unlikely, but possible.
I saw a fire Mario plush at Target a few days ago. I’m pretty sure he was skinner looking than the one shown. I didn’t look who was the manufacturer was.
Great video. Can you please do another video on Playhouse Disney lost media or updated pieces of Playhouse Disney lost media? I loved that first one you did.
I don't follow lost media and I randomly clicked on this from my home page... and I know it's late but honestly the moment you mentioned angry beavers cuffed together.... I remember watching an episode similar to that. I can't really remember much about it but I do in fact remember an episode where the two beavers were stuck together? I don't actually think it involved handcuffs though? I feel like they were just stuck? why do I have this memory wtf. I wonder if I'm just remembering another cartoon that aired at the same time as angry beavers and I'm swapping the plots? I need to know what cartoon I'm remembering where two hands were basically glued together now...... ahhh.... it's 5:00 a.m. I should go to bed. now is not the time for a rabbit hole.
oh cool another channel about lost media, i love this stuff and it's cool hearing about various stuff being found or definitively debunke- "Metroid Dread" *slowly and dramatically ramps into supervillain laughter*
The spongebob one kind of bums me out but I get it. I totally thought I remembered Squidward transforming into a snail, even before I knew people were looking for that scene. I think since it's been so long since I've even seen that episode I just confused Spongebob's transformation for Squidward's.
I may or may not have a case involving a 101 Dalmatians plush. At the clinic i go to, there was a plush of a Dalmatian named “Oddball” with a sweater on, in a normal standing position. It had a walt disney tush tag but no date was present. When searching online i only found two listings for it on ebay, so i guess i couldnt really consider it lost? Im not sure
I wonder if David Spade would give a show like Sammy another try nowadays knowing how popular he is and maybe if more people found out about that Sammys cartoon on RUclips maybe more people will want it
I could've sworn that I saw the squidward animation on tv at some point, spanish tv did use to air most cartoons uncensored some time ago. I remember his back bending to make the swirly shape of a snail shell. Disturbing
Although its not a lost media , ... ah ... it might be actually bigger than you could have known . When i was small ,like in the 70,s . i sometimes caught a small cartoon show called 'Simon in the land of Chalk Drawings' . Then , about 20 yrs later , i could have SWORN there was an updated version. Both ran on PBS . I then lived in So. Cal. SpoongeDoodle triggered a flashback of the drawings being "alive" , and this memory.
Wow, I thought I had a memory of seeing Squidward transform but I guess that was far too long ago & the mind remembers things from that long ago in a weird way, can be difficult to decipher false memories from actual ones but I do try my best, I can trace things that happened around seeing particular stuff that tells me this did happen such as when the episode Shanghaied first aired, I remember watching the premiere because during the commercial break when we were told to vote on who got the wish, I ran down the hall, got onto Nick's website, & selected Spongebob then ran back in time to catch it & I felt proud of my vote for Spongebob since he clearly was the one who had the best vote but years later when talking to Rodger Bumpass at a con, he voices Squidward, he admitted they expected Spongebob to win but had the other clips as backup. For years, I'd remember seeing the alternate wishes & Patchy segments like I knew I wasn't crazy, I could recall the whole thing & thankfully, it's not lost because it's on the first 100 episodes of Spongebob DVD set so people probably uploaded the episode in full with having easy access to it. I'm happy we can have confirmation towards that but when it comes to I Was a Teenage Gary, it took digging to discover the scene never even existed. I guess if it was on my mind when I met Rodger, I could of asked him about that scene even existing since I'm sure he'd remember voicing Squidward transforming into a snail but like I'm sure in the back of my mind, I knew it didn't exist, I had no memories to draw onto from watching the premiere of the episode. I know I watched it, I remember watching it, I just don't remember anything significant happening during that to able to confirm the memories associated with it.
Thanks for watching everyone!

Yeah! I remember that episode too. I wonder if this is what causes the confusion?
@@Saber0003 possibly, if it’s a legit episode and not a pilot then the mystery is solved.
Oh shit I've seen the Angry Beavers episode where they're snowed in. I remember seeing it when I was a kid.
I saw Cracks (That Sesame Street short) when I was little and I’m only 17
I swear I've seen the Cuffed Together episode after hearing him describe it.
That’s just wishful thinking at this point, buddy.
I think you're just gonna have to write it off as a dream. Memory, no matter how vivid, isn't as reliable as you'd think
I remember it too
i was there when spongebob was still super new and had the halloween VHS and i don't even have the faintest memory of that scene ever happening.
You can buy the vhs and it has the episode you are looking for let me know if you need the link
So the "24k gold GBA" literally had atoms worth of gold? Damn I was expecting a bit better...
Need you help y’all- thumbs this UP
dude this is driving me crazy - back when bionicle 3 web of shadows was coming out, Miguzi on Cartoon Network had a contest and one of the prizes was a “unique life sized lego vizorak” it was green and massive. You have the means of tracking this down right? This is something I’ve never seen anyone talk about.
I am pleased to see that the Sammy show has been uploaded.
There's apparently a similar episode in the actual series.
That spongebob one sounded like it was out of a creepy pasta
I remembered your Dread video when watching the Direct, and it made me so excited!
It’s blowing my mind that there is angry beaver fanfiction, there is fanfiction for nickelodeon cartoons it’s blowing my mind
imagine just taking a trip down to the local thrift store and coming across a ultra-rare,gold-plated gameboy advanced SP. the kind of stuff you can find at these places are astounding and i honestly feel like i should be visiting mine more, just incase something really cool just happens to be there for a few bucks.
I have the old spongebob episode on tape, the deleted scene is definitely bs lol
In response to the ella flowers bit, maybe the pastor from that church would have some vhs?
I saw dread in the thumbnail and I clicked instantly
The lost media history of You Can’t Do That On Television would be an interesting video with lots of twists and turns.
Wow, "Sammy" had some serious talent working on it!
broo youre like a better version of another lost media youtuber i watch! gonna sub
PBS Kids Cowboy Bebop bumper got found and it was apparently on Vimeo the whole time?
I've definitely seen a fire mario plush in a target when I was a kid.
Well I learned something unexpected from this video. That clip of the lost media wiki talking about the baseball game. I didn't know there was a game broadcast before the Dodgers/Reds game.
a mallow plush was also recently bought by a US user
I definitely plan to check out Sammy, looks like they have Bob Odenkirk
I saw a fire Mario plush at Target a few days ago. I’m pretty sure he was skinner looking than the one shown. I didn’t look who was the manufacturer was.
"Japanese plush manufacturer Takara"
...you know Takara makes a lot more than plushes, right?
Great video. Can you please do another video on Playhouse Disney lost media or updated pieces of Playhouse Disney lost media? I loved that first one you did.
Hey! I contacted the costume designers of Me and my Friends (Yvette Helin Studio) and maybe in the future or sooner, they reply!
So nice to see an update on some of these older topics! Great video as always. :)
There's still an early demo of Metroid Dread out there from DS era, and possibly a 3ds demo.
Suggestion: The Huckleberry Hound Show bumpers. Nobody has ever talked about them.
Why does Sammy low key look like it belongs in the as told by ginger universe lols
oh cool another channel about lost media, i love this stuff and it's cool hearing about various stuff being found or definitively debunke-
"Metroid Dread"
*slowly and dramatically ramps into supervillain laughter*
Im not sure
I really hope the wicked witch sesame street episode gets found
I mainly clicked for the Pink Morning Cartoon update lol
I wonder if David Spade would give a show like Sammy another try nowadays knowing how popular he is and maybe if more people found out about that Sammys cartoon on RUclips maybe more people will want it
He could give it another try
Just after you talking about metroid dread an ad popped up for it.
More plus news: the dream of Mephiles merch finally comes true.😊 Along with Emerl and Whisper he'll get a plush by Great Eastern Entertainment 🥳
I could've sworn that I saw the squidward animation on tv at some point, spanish tv did use to air most cartoons uncensored some time ago. I remember his back bending to make the swirly shape of a snail shell. Disturbing
It’s not real every country has the scene cut to Squidward already being a snail because the scene isn’t real
I lived in France in the '90s and I swear I saw that cuffed together episode on Cartoon Network UK.
