I love how in P5R you can basically get a "game over" before the game even starts. Seriously, I am looking forward to seeing how this mod plays out. Side note: Kind of weird with the anime cutscenes where Joker's hair goes from long to short and back to long. I understand why, but still funny to think about.
I've been recording parts of two separate playthroughs with this mod as the base: 1) Mandatory battles only, Merciless, 1.23x damage (dealt), 0.33x money and EXP; these modifiers serve as an attempt to replicate the original Merciless modifiers from vanilla P5. 2) A test NG+ playthrough on Merciless, with [NIGHTMARE] Level-scaled HP Multiplier, P5R Ultimate Rebalance, Severe Divine Judgement/Demonic Decree, occasionally Mod Menu Royal (not on Gamebanana), and Early Party Members (as needed, probably only in the beginning); the run officially starts when the entire party is leveled to 75 through EXP cheats, and the EXP, damage, and defense multipliers are changed with each level-up. The idea is to get a basic feel for how a mod that properly replicates the Merciless mode from Strikers could look. The does have its limitations due to not raising enemy levels or non-HP stats, though: * I can only set damage and defense to 0.1x at minimum with the trainer I found, * Actual enemy levels still seem to hinder enemies; level scaling for damage is almost always maximized in player favor, and Instant Kill is capable of trivializing Palace/Mementos navigation by working on almost everything. * Enemies still suffer from their actual non-HP stats still being low; most of them are still squishy thanks to their low Endurance, their low Agility leaves them prone to missing (especially with Sukukaja/Sukunda in player favor), and their low Luck might make their dealt ailments and even Criticals somewhat less effective? Both playthroughs have some QoL mods like Always Dodge Chalk and No RNG when Crafting: The Royal, as well as cosmetic mods like She/Her Joker (to use alongside Female Protagonist), More Natural Text Messages, They/Them Alibaba, some compatibility patches, and Battle Music Randomizer. (As of commenting, I have no idea if you are using any other mods besides Female Protagonist and the basic mods needed to make all other mods work).
Wow, that sounds like a very interesting pair of playthroughs that you are running as for me, I am only running Fem Joker. Want to keep things nice and simple.
@@Snowthe1st It also makes TOO much sense. If they gave us the option to play as a male and female. think of the excuse to need to play both to complete the romantic routes! That's extra play time. AND people wont bug them about making their male lead characters gay. Which they clearly don't like.
@@M星の水晶 Ideally we would have both male and female playable protagonists, that can romance people of both genders. But the team in charge of Persona starting with 3 have an almost pathological hatred for this, given their refusal to have any LGBT content in Persona games unless fans ask for it incessantly. And even then, Atlus tries to get away with proving the bare minimum, and sometimes even less.
@@Snowthe1st I'm not even asking for LGBTQ. The romance for females, as we have now, will be exclusive for the male route. and the Male romances are exclusive for the female route. I think I heard that they may have complained about players not playing their games for long enough. Don't quote me on that. Well... THAT'S the best solution. I don't mind if the devs want their characters to be strickly straight. That's their choice. But I wish they remember that Straight woman are a thing. Their sales would probably rise for catering for both!

Yeah, this mod has to fight with some stuff in the base game. It’s made for some interesting experiences so far, that’s for sure!

Thanks for watching! The mod has even stranger effects on the game as it goes on. But I like it, makes for a different experience.
Joker now is like a boy love crossdressing all the time.
I think the idea behind this mod is a Joker that has always been female, but we’ll see how it changes the story of P5 itself.
