Ok, so it wasn’t just my copy of the game. The English dub audio quality is super compressed and is in fact giving me tinnitus 🎉

I've been recording parts of two separate playthroughs with this mod as the base: 1) Mandatory battles only, Merciless, 1.23x damage (dealt), 0.33x money and EXP; these modifiers serve as an attempt to replicate the original Merciless modifiers from vanilla P5. 2) A test NG+ playthrough on Merciless, with [NIGHTMARE] Level-scaled HP Multiplier, P5R Ultimate Rebalance, Severe Divine Judgement/Demonic Decree, occasionally Mod Menu Royal (not on Gamebanana), and Early Party Members (as needed, probably only in the beginning); the run officially starts when the entire party is leveled to 75 through EXP cheats, and the EXP, damage, and defense multipliers are changed with each level-up. The idea is to get a basic feel for how a mod that properly replicates the Merciless mode from Strikers could look. The does have its limitations due to not raising enemy levels or non-HP stats, though: * I can only set damage and defense to 0.1x at minimum with the trainer I found, * Actual enemy levels still seem to hinder enemies; level scaling for damage is almost always maximized in player favor, and Instant Kill is capable of trivializing Palace/Mementos navigation by working on almost everything. * Enemies still suffer from their actual non-HP stats still being low; most of them are still squishy thanks to their low Endurance, their low Agility leaves them prone to missing (especially with Sukukaja/Sukunda in player favor), and their low Luck might make their dealt ailments and even Criticals somewhat less effective? Both playthroughs have some QoL mods like Always Dodge Chalk and No RNG when Crafting: The Royal, as well as cosmetic mods like She/Her Joker (to use alongside Female Protagonist), More Natural Text Messages, They/Them Alibaba, some compatibility patches, and Battle Music Randomizer. (As of commenting, I have no idea if you are using any other mods besides Female Protagonist and the basic mods needed to make all other mods work).

I downloaded this mod. But i play mostly on ps5 and use my pc for mods. I wish i could use this mod on the ps5 version but we all know it's impossible xD

I think... the twin(?) Braids makes sense. Popculture osmosis between Joker, Bayonetta, and Smash Ultimate, has resulted in the meme about Joker and Bayonetta being Son and Mother by general style similarities. And with the advent of Bayonetta 3, Bayonetta has a more cuter style with her twin braids. Interesting to see these style similarities pop up again with the braid(s?)

I'd advise to cut off your recording program, bacause most people just leave instantly seeing that. Also, the episode is quite long so I'd cut the boring parts too and mute the game a bit cuz we can barely hear you. A cool program for editing is named DaVincie Resolve, totally free and easy to use. I once tried yt too and I know its hard. Good luck :)

I love how in P5R you can basically get a "game over" before the game even starts. Seriously, I am looking forward to seeing how this mod plays out. Side note: Kind of weird with the anime cutscenes where Joker's hair goes from long to short and back to long. I understand why, but still funny to think about.

It was amazing for me to watch this series from start to finish! Thank you for taking the time to check it out and review it! I mostly used the SEs from the SOJ game files without altering them in any way, maybe I ought to have decreased their volume to some level so it initially sounds better with the music but oh well. Good thing the volume's adjustable. As for why Zilch wasn't in the case, you mostly got the right reason as to how it logically wouldnt make sense for him to physically be there. Besides, once you prove he exists still you also prove that he's the culprit in the process, so cross-examining him would be useless, there isn't any AA-type excuse he could have come up with as to why he is still alive. Plus, I wanted this to focused less on the person who actually did the deed (like the blackened in DR) but more on who requested it (sorta like the Matt Engarde / Shelly de Killer thing). Also, presenting either control room would've worked.

I added the part with backing off to make it more interesting and different from the original, probably inspired more by Logic chess from AAI2 (the mobile fan translation came out at the time and I checked it out). Same with the part with the carpet, it's weird that the game never casts any suspicion on Melami and what I added here was actually how I disproved it for myself (I like to take my time coming up with theories before advancing in the cases.). I actually did a lot of research about this part in case I was overthinking it. But no, in TGAA1-4 where the was actually a fire that damaged a carpet there were actual parts of it destroyed and what we had in the photo was merely ashes since the carpet pattern continued as before, just with black on top of it. Also glad the Ultimate secret thing isn't a problem for you, that seems to have upset some people. Maybe I can make some hint as to how it was done in a future update.

I really enjoyed this and waiting for the next part! It's nice to see the reactions of someone well-versed into the AA lore. Now I'm considering adding a scene examining the Backup control room to better explain the details, I was initially really excited to get to the trial so I didn't quite flesh everything out here. Oh and Apollo's not referenced since I intended for this to played if you've finished SOJ, there will be spoilery stuff for that later down the line. And also, in the original the culprit wasn't wearing gloves so I assumed doing this would be fine since yes, they weren't expecting a trial like that here.
