Well, that wraps up another season...definitely the weirdest I think we've all seen. This was my 3rd year making highlights and I just wanted to say thank you for all of the support over these 3 years. And that…THAT, is only on the NL side. To say this WS championship didn’t count, ask the teams who played this particular post season, they couldn’t be more wrong!
Last pitch by Julio, 97 miles per hour fast ball, was perfect location. Great job. But Dodgers MVP were Kevin Cash and his computer crap for pulling Snell. Snell was mowing down the Dodgers, similar to how Sandy Koufax used to dominate opponents.
Always come back to this and feel the excitement of that 6th inning to the homerun to the urias strikeouts in the 9th. And above all seeing how happy kershaw was the man deserved it and it will always be amazing to call him a World Series champion

It would have been crushing to lose their third in four years, so I'm happy for the Dodgers. And the Rays can hold their heads high. They have such a tough job every year, pulling down 90+ wins in the regular season and finishing 2nd or 3rd to the Yankees/Red Sox. It will happen for them in the next few years, I'm pretty sure.
I'ma Nationals fan, but it's about time that Tampa got their World series. I've been pulling for them for decades to do it now as a rooting interest outside of my team. I hope they pulled off in the next few years before the window closes again

Lol I caught that arozarena ball. I didn’t think it would go out it just carried so far. I realized and got disappointed cause I’m a dodger fan and then realized it was hitting the tarp. Had a funky hop and bounced right into me.

It's my understanding that Tommy Lasorda saw this game in person before he passed away last month. Manager Dave "Doc" Roberts had to be happy about that.
To be honest, I was sweating bullets when I heard Roberts was gonna go with the bullpen, but other than the HR allowed, they surprised me with their lights out pitching. I was also glad that Alex Wood came back and won a ring. He should’ve started Game 7 back in 2017, IMO.

But like I said, all of the Astros’ runs came off of Darvish’s 1 2/3 innings, and he was tipping his pitches. Alex Wood shined in his start in Game 3, allowing only one hit. He later said that he had heard the rumors about the Astros’ sign stealing and would change up his signs. After Darvish was pulled, the Astros only had 2 more hits, with 0 runs. Last I checked, scoring one run and keeping the opposition to 0 runs still wins you a game.

I think that's a bit far, Snell doesn't pitch complete games at all ever... And how many games did the Rays Shutout the Dodgers? None... Can't win if you only get a solo homerun and fail on all your chances to drive in more with RISP. They got beat by the better team. How about that Randy Arozarena guy though? Snell was pitching good, and I didn't agree with his decisions several times throughout the series, multiple times they went in the Rays favor. Felt bad for Snell, second time he was frustrated by that in a seven game series. This time he had a real reason to be.

Dodgers would've won game 5 for sure. They scored 12 runs with no cheating..Astros needed to cheat. They would've gone home up 3-2 and would've closed the door in game 6.

Dylan Floro was huge striking out the hottest hitter Arrozarena in three pitches with two on. Then again Alex Wood led the bullpen in holding down the fort.
It was a very tense game - feel for Snell who was virtually unhittable Who can say what might have happened but everything changed when they took Snell out 2-1 after that Now Tampa just couldn’t hit anything after the 1st couple of innings and Snell pitching might not have worked, but damn you have to feel for him ... the TB decision was predetermined it sounded like but there are times when you go with the hot guy. Delighted for the Dodgers and Kershaw, and thought the Rays would force a game 7 but not to be All of us grateful for these amazing posts Next year, a deep run by the Jays ... we shall see

It's my understanding that Tommy Lasorda saw this game in person before he passed away last month. Manager Dave "Doc" Roberts had to be happy about that.
To be honest, I was sweating bullets when I heard Roberts was gonna go with the bullpen, but other than the HR allowed, they surprised me with their lights out pitching. I was also glad that Alex Wood came back and won a ring. He should’ve started Game 7 back in 2017, IMO.

@@toddinthemiddle there’s no denying that the Dodgers didn’t do themselves any favors by leaving all those runners on base. But like I said, all of the Astros’ runs came off of Darvish’s 1 2/3 innings, and he was tipping his pitches. Alex Wood shined in his start in Game 3, allowing only one hit. He later said that he had heard the rumors about the Astros’ sign stealing and would change up his signs. After Darvish was pulled, the Astros only had 2 more hits, with 0 runs. Last I checked, scoring one run and keeping the opposition to 0 runs still wins you a game.

I think that's a bit far, Snell doesn't pitch complete games at all ever... And how many games did the Rays Shutout the Dodgers? None... Can't win if you only get a solo homerun and fail on all your chances to drive in more with RISP. They got beat by the better team. How about that Randy Arozarena guy though? Nobody really talked about him in that January 9th trade. I did, I was very impressed by his time in a Cardinal uniform and I bet John Mozeliak is kicking himself once again.

@Isaac697 Yes, think the Rays were really the first team to use a opener? Snell was pitching good, and I didn't agree with his decisions several times throughout the series, multiple times they went in the Rays favor. Felt bad for Snell, second time he was frustrated by that in a seven game series. This time he had a real reason to be.

Who can say what might have happened but everything changed when they took Snell out

Now Tampa just couldn’t hit anything after the 1st couple of innings and Snell pitching might not have worked, but damn you have to feel for him ... the TB decision was predetermined it sounded like but there are times when you go with the hot guy.
