So if anyone is wondering about how it was in history, here we go (I am doing this from memory so dont roast me lol): Needless to say that tanks have neither Hitpoints nor Dpm, thus the Tiger would lose two of its main strengths in Blitz. The armor was 100mm as opposed to about 150mm in Blitz. Surprising to most will be the fact that the Sherman's armor almost matched the Tiger's armor at around 90mm effective, as the Sherman had sloped armor. Despite the Tiger being surprisingly mobile for its weight, it wouldnt compare to its Blitz representation. The Sherman's mobility was vastly superior as it was a medium tank, duh. In history, the battle would have taken place at way greater distances, giving the Tiger a great advantage as its penetration overmatched the penetration of a Sherman by a factor of almost two (Its hard to find proper data on this). This would apply to Shermans equipped with the 75mm gun M3 (which all of the ones in the video are). In 1943, however, a new gun was fitted into the M4. The 76mm Gun M1A2 gave the Sherman significantly better AT performance and was able to take on a Tiger, although the Tiger remained superior. At that point, Allied platoons were organized so each platoon had at least one "Easy Eight", Sherman Firefly, M10 Wolverine or M18 Hellcat to counter Tiger's or even Panthers in the unlikely event of an encounter. Assuming the Shermans managed to get into close conbat like in the video, it is likely they would win. Their superior numbers and maneuverability would enable one of them to take the Tiger out with a sideshot, even if none of them had a 76mm gun or better. However, getting into that situation would be the problem in the first place. It would probably only be possible in an urban battlefield. In a realistic scenario, it is likely that the Shermans would call for artillery or air support upon spotting the Tiger. Encountering these vehicles was rare anyway because of their low numbers and their mechanical unreliability, and the American forces had absolute numerical and air superiority. The M4 Sherman was not intended to fight the Tiger, and mostly didnt. Out of the entire manual of the Sherman only very few pages were dedicated to tank to tank combat: for a reason. The reason why tank crews insisted on keeping the 75mm despite increasing numbers of Heavily armored tanks and the introduction of the 76mm was the fact that the old gun was multi-purpose. It did the job way better for Anti-Infantry and against enemy positions like MG nests, which was the things the Sherman had to do most of the time. The M4 was fairly superior to contemporary mediums at its introduction, was insanely reliable and easy to repair, easy to transport (imagine having to ship a Tiger over the Atlantic, most trains, bridges and cranes wouldnt make it) and remained an absolute match winner and is my favourite tank lol. The Tiger, hugely overhyped by fans, and unfairly looked down on by critics, was intended as breakthrough vehicle and filled that role perfectly. Its weaknesses were acceptable for the role it was supposed to play (a breakthrough vehicle needs to last only as long as the breakthrough does, before it can go onto maintenance, thus reliability is almost irrelevant as a breakthrough didnt last that long). Only if used as heavy tank in defense and constantly in use, it would fail as it kind of did in the war. Both tanks were great as long as used correctly. Bruh why did you bother reading lmao

@@ThunderWithMuffin Actually, this is not true. Hell, if anything, the Sherman was a vastly superior tank to the Tiger I, being more reliable, easier to produce, a lot safer for the crew, low maintenance, easy to repair... The list goes on. The Tiger had a stronger gun, no question, and the armor could be angled well, which was actually encouraged (see: TigerFibel.) That aside, however, not only was it horribly complicated, but repairing it was actual hell due to how it was built. @@dominicgorriceta6487 Not to mention the fact that Tiger tanks suffered a lot of problems, these include the transmission breaking several times to random engine fires on the Tiger II's engine block
Lets make clear something. Real tiger had a smaller gun. And it would be tier 6 not 7. Second if we make both tanks crewed by veterns tiger 1 would win. Its due to tiger superior firepower. A single tiger in a push can spot and fire from way further and still hit and knock out shermans. Niq the myth 5 sherman for 1 tiger isn't true. But its true tiger 1 has superior firepower and can easily take out a sherman platoon. Another fact is tiger 1 is a tank killing machine, shermans not. Both made for completey different roles. Ahhh hey muffun it actually M4A3E8 sherman tank and 3 m4 sherman i think
One of the Shermans should be a Firefly to make it historically correct.
Historically those 76mm guns would cut right through a tiger at that range
I just realized you're commenting a replay
This is the movie Fury Challenge!
German soldier: one German tank is better than ten American tanks, but they all ways seem to have 11.
American soldier: A German tank would run out of ammo before Americans ran out of tanks.
The real Fury scene, not fake one
Thats me in last battle saying hi and am i going to be in a video
Fury but with better colour
Should have added a tiger 131 and 1 fury tank.
They were noobs, they loss lots of shot and don't attack tougher, the don't use APCR and fire only on your reds part. In the reality 3 Shermans are enough
Ok Kid 👦
Dominic Rendon Bruh its called facts, if those sherman players were actually veterans, the tiger would be dead
So don't be mad. Overall intial Tiger 1 Crew were extremely good. Tiger 1 was not an easy tank to run and you had to be extremly good to be in one.
@@dominicgorriceta6487Wrong. I have studied Tiger 1.
Do 50 T-34s vs 1 Tiger I
Lol
Even if 1on5, we will need 2 Shermans Sacrifice...
1 should have been an Easy Eight
Normally the tiger would hide in a bush while the Sherman's go in a colloum
Hey mate I want u to make a video in which tiger 1 faces off against 4 m4 Sherman's and where m4 shermans rush towards the tiger and 1 Sherman could be Sherman firefly, same that happened in fury film .plz ;)
Saunders vs kuromorimine
Noice
do tiger 1 vs 5 amx elc bis
Who the hell told you they can load pramo at you wtf
Do the challenge again, but for realism use stock gun on both tiger and sherman and not the top engine on the tiger
Jacob Richards if this was realistic the tiger suspension would brake
@@_aragornyesyes_7171 yeah and the crew would panic and abandon it 😂
Lol!
In real life, the Tiger 1 is the most feared ww2 heavy tanks
Cualquier parecido con la realidad es mera coincidencia xD
