If you use Opera as your browser, it has a built-in VPN. Then you can go to some of the torrent sites, that still exist, such as PirateBay and can key in what you desire to download, with "complete" in the search and more often than not, PirateBay will carry the entire collection. To download a torrent I use qBittorrent because I find it has fewer hangups. If you choose to use another VPN then you can do that too. Nord is the one I use with the Google Browser.
I was very young watching Ma and Pa and my dad and I loved every movie made. I just learned that Pa is buried here in San Bruno CA, at the Golden Gate Natl Cemetery. We went to visit his gravesite and it read that he was a private in WW1. He passed on Dec 11 1964. If you are ever in this town his marker is Section 2B, Marker 3771B. I couldn't help but think about Pa doing this math problem while I was there!
This one Ma and Pa kettle film was written by John Grant who was Abbott and Costellos long time writer. This is really an Abbott and Costello routine best shown in 1946 film Little Giant
Some of my best childhood memories were staying at my Uncle Herbert and Auntie Janets sheep farm near Armidale NSW in the early 1980s. We used to joke about how much they looked like Ma and Pa Kettle.
I have started learning Trigonometry, and I am puzzled. There is a Right Triangle. One angle is obviously 90°. The other angles are marked with the Greek Letters for Alpha & Theta. The Hypotenuse is 5√2 Units. The Legs are 5 Units. How is it possible that SIN Theta, COS Theta, SIN Alpha, and COS Alpha are all the same? [√2 over 2]
The legs are equal ... Both 5. Alpha and theta are equal ... Both 45°. Equal angles both have the same sine. Equal angles both have the same cosine. And if the angle is 45°, then its sine and cosine are both √2/2 .
I am happy you appreciate this offering. I have all the Ma and Pa and Abbott and Costello movies, and I do think that between the two similar jokes, Ma and Pa is the funniest.
Ma & Pa Kettle go to the Big City. Might have seen that but not before 2008. I might have been 50yrs old. They might have been staying at the Waldorf !!
I wonder if this an original routine. I have a hunch this was taken from an act from vaudeville Who’s on First has a murky origin, but most agree it was a old routine before A&C made it famous.
That's very likely. Early movies that were heavily into comedy, song and dance were frequently adapted from vaudeville routines. I believe that the thinking behind this was that both were presented in theaters. Abbott and Costello did this same routine in one of their movies and they used to be in vaudeville.
If he knew that 4 x 5 was 20 then count 5 more for 25. Put 14 1s down 5 times and add them up. That would add up to 70. Then put down 5 1s 5 times. Add up all the 1s. Hell 2 sets of 14 1s is 28. And I happen to know Pa Kettle could add subtract correctly. He showed his savviness several times at the track.
Why didn't Billy just write 11111 in Five rows and count it with them like that? Lol but I don't blame Pa Kettle cause that's exactly how my math logic is.
I wish some channel would rebroadcast the "Ma and Pa Kettle" series. Harmless, apolitical humor that is timeless.

Saturday afternoons growing up in the 70’s was always me and my sister watching Ma and Pa Kettle and Abbott and Costello.
me too. loved them .
Billy: That's just a rough draft.
Ma: When you get it smoothed out, we won't understand it any better.

Percy Kilbride, as Pa Kettle
While crossing the street, he was hit by a car and died a short time later.
(It's visiting graves w/Steve, I learned that there.)
@@curtisrobinson7962 thanks for the info

I watched the reruns on Sunday as a kid growing up in the 70s
Awesome ❤
I just love Ma Kettle so much!!
Love this! New Math way ahead of its time😅
I couldn't help my son with his 3rd grade math because of "New Math"!! And that was about 50 years ago!
Abbott and Costello had a similar routine back in the day, but it was 7×13=28.
Which was first? I showed this to my pre algebra class for fun one day.
i remember her. she did a lot of shows other than this. her hair was always the same. and she was great!!
I love this!
I love Ma & Pa they ain't stupid. ❤
I'm a Math Major. Love this video. 🧮
Abbott and Costello did that same routine.
Betcha' learned sumpin' didn't you?

@@Alcohen2006 Thank you, Al. That makes sense now.
Makes as much sense as "New Math"!
Thank you very much for uploading this interesting but yet funny video so that I can see it again.

This is excellent.....
Best to have a good attorney at your side. He can discern whether or not you are getting a fair deal. An honest witness is a plus.
Same routine costello did to his landlord mr fields...
Egg and i is still my fav one
Not sure how, it’s the worst IMO
Hilarious its like common core
An under rated routine similar to Abbot & Costello.
This is definitely the same as Abbott and Costello but they used 13 times 7 equals 28.
