being able to use the 31 with actual passenger coaches is one of my favourite things about this add on, why they had it towing a fully running Class 101 on the TVL for passenger runs I'll never understand
I’d love to see the whole route from Paddington being extended to Penzance. Though I’ll understand that would have to be over several dlc packs. Would also love to see the Reading to Waterloo route too.
Hopefully they will extend it, as I find it's way too short to really get the most out of the HST. Also I just love the old BR Blues. I'd welcome more Dirty Diesels over modern electrics any day. The more BR Blues I have, the happier I am. I love 'em As for the 70's timetables. It just doesn't bother me.
Hi Tin Tin, Well I'm a bit miffed to be honest. I own all the trains required to play the Diesel Legends Great Western Add on. But I don't own the Diesel Legends of the Great Western pack. I don't see why I have to buy it just to play the 1980's timetable. As I already own the locos and route I'd just be buying it all again in a pack just to get the new timetable. I wish there was a way to just get the timetable.
I actually like this pack especially the class 52, i liked gwe its a pretty route, cant wait for the remaster, also will the 1972 stock and d78 (as a d78) be drivable in this route? Or are they like class 66s on the bakerloo line route being ai only
My favourite diesel ever and my favourite to play. I love the noise the engines make when you power up, the idle sounds, the acceleration is very good and it’s looks good as well. Horn is a bit naff though 😂
The thing that real dissuades me from playing Legends more is that the point system is broken - Gold medal is unobtainable even when punctual, no speeding and close to perfect stops. I quite liked the concept of pilot loco operations at a terminus releasing stock and locos.
I played this route on my PS4 back in 2019 i did a multiple unit service and used the Class 66. I never came back because I saw dlc prices in 2019 got mad and snapped the disc It's kinda funny cause after that I bought TSW2 digital and some dlcs and have up to 60 dlcs on TSW5 present day.
Diesel legends, good idea, bad execution, overpriced. Typical DTG DLC really. I'd love for loads more BR Blue/sectorisation period content, but DTG seem completely uninterested in it, but at least Just TRains are starting to do it justice.
Man, they have to fix the contrast for this game, the fake HDR effect is bad, really bad. At mid day, you can barely see any detail on shadows and on the other side you have overexposed highlights.
I believe at the time of release this was before the class 800s came and the Intercity 125s were still the main traction. So the OHLE wasn’t finished IRL
@@GreatEasternMainlineSpots well giving us rolling stock we already have in multiple routes with the same loco and some extra timetables. You might be right there
I've always hated DTG for this pointless DLC. It is a wasted cash grab which contains locos like the 08- which I already have on Blackpool branches, BR Heavy freight pack+Tees valley line. The 101 which I have from TVL and NTP, and the 52 which is pointless as it (whilst I dont own it) doesn't justify the insane price hike. They should've done something like a Class 180, that would have been amazing
That horn is diabolical I thought it was an AWS alarm😂
Ha ha yeah. Like a 6ft bloke with a squeaky voice!!
But that is exactly what a western sounds like? Try watching a video. Its been scripted awfully but that is how they sound
Paddington is quite empty. Infact you could say , wait for it. Paddingtons bare. 😅
Wait for it. Paddington's bare.
@SpeccyMan yes that's what I said ?????

Definitely would like to see Paddington to Penzance.
I too hope the remaster includes more content around the route including Paddington Stn.

The new timetable and scenarios were good and liked all the named blue 52s, but always found it a bit too jarring to play that much.

Yeah me too, always enjoy the diesels. Not heard of any details really yet on the remaster, hoping the next roadmap there is something
Would have liked to seen Diesel Hydraulic Legends with a Warship and Hymek included.
Good call 👍

Yeah more like a squeak ha ha
@@TinTin_57the horn isn’t great in real life but they’ve made it worse
Whay we really need is a loco thst fits between the withdrawal of the 52 and the introduction of the HST. Hmmm what could fit in there ?
Rearrange these popular numbers 0 5

wait till its on sale then get it then
I'm glad your still doing these Tintin I'm enjoying them thanks
Me too mate, cheers
I remember sam calling the bs of this dlc that requires like 4+ other dlcs on the stream for it then magically later on he "Left" dovetail.

Awesome tin tin as always when’s the episode coming dedicated to the ridiculous hashed wcl 150/2?
When you use the screens and enlarge them. It might be a silly question, but have you tried using the left stick to move the cursor ?
On ps5 it’s bugged, pc works fine

I remember them trains as a kid, great stuff man 👍🏽
I thought this was a 70s porn movie when the music started.
Ha ha well I had to try and find something suitable for the 70's timetable ;-) Sounds like I got it right ha ha
@@TinTin_57 Spot on.
A cool diesel based train, TinTin. Nice.
I hope in the ecml diesel pack will be a deltic
This route is too quiet. So hopefully when it gets a facelift it may be busy

The map was accurate to release date which was before Over head lines had been completed on the gwr
I actually like driving the class 52vwizzo i can live with the poor horns
what a disaster the lighting is in the shadows. by farrrr to dark
Probably the worst TSW DLC
I disagree, cargo line takes the win on that one
