  • The default in a visa interview is refusal, you have to convince the visa officer that you deserve a visa issuance.
You need to communicate the highlights of your case and provide positive evidence that you deserve a visa issuance while countering the negative aspects of your case. This is how you will avoid a 214(b) visa refusal.
With Argo Visa you get the chance to work with the visa interview experts, our team of former visa officers. 👥 👥

I am begining to think the US B1/B2 visa interview process is a flawed one. How do you refuse someone with who earns more than $85,000 annual income after tax and has a recent travel history to Cairo, Casablanca, Dubai, and Johannesburg? Someone who has partly funded his brothers Masters education in the US paying more than $20,000 in the process? They don’t give you even 1 minute to explain the merits of your case when you are talking about your purpose of visit. Instead, they interrupt you in less than a minute and make up their minds in 30 seconds. Why would someone want to leave their lucrative job in their home country to live in the US with no assurance of work? I think the process needs to have a reassessment someday. My two cents.

Practice practice practice, as 99% of the time they'll ask the same questions so we should practice our answers to build confidence. Here are the questions which I was asked :
      Purpose of your visit?
Is your organization a US base?
      What's your job profile?
Have you visited any other country?
      Are you married ?
      Do you have kids?
      What is your salary?
Here are highlights in my answers :
      -US base organization

-I am IT lead and Subject Matter expert
      -I have my own property

Q2)After submitting successfully the completed DS-160 forms, how do i schdule my appointment for interview?? is it by calling the consulate or embassy or there is an option on the DS-160 forms to select for the schdulling??

Thanks you, Ben, I got my visa approved today. I was just refused one month ago. I watched a series videos in this channel and gradually figured out why I was rejected and how to improve this situation. I'm really passive in the first interview. I feel so nervous that I almost answer every question officer asked with less than five words. She rejected me in three minutes without checking any of my materials. But this time, I prepared a long answer contain all my highlight for the first question (What are you going to in the US) and guide him to go through my materials. Everything goes smooth! I really appreciate your generous sharing.🙏

I have been accepted into Drexel University in Pennsylvania for a master's program in mechanical engineering and have received a scholarship. I own a business in Iran that includes three beauty salons. I want to study ergonomic chair design for beauty salons to prevent back injuries during my master's program. The head of the mechanical engineering department at Drexel University is also an Iranian professor. Should I mention this in my interview and even try to communicate with this professor? Would this be seen as a positive point, or should I avoid mentioning it because we are both Iranian?

Hi Ben, my question is: my mother is retired (69 yrs old) and does not have any source of income only her savings and support she receives from me and my brother. She lives with me, the breadwinner. My brother who lives in the US (US citizen) wants us to visit for Christmas; we live in the Caribbean. She will be traveling with me. I have traveled to the US a few times (recently renewed my visa, which expired last October) but this will be her first time applying for a visa; she has an appointment in March. She does not have any ties a part from her house. However, she is an avid churchgoer so we were lucky to convince her to miss 2 weeks of not going to church in her home country while she is away. There is absolutely no immigrant intent on her part. So what are her chances of getting a HB1/2 tourist visa? How can she sufficiently convince the Officer that she will be returning home?

stay with me here. I want to apply for a second working holiday visa for AUSTRALIA (I’m a UK citizen) I had a 3 year exclusion for overstaying an Australian visitor visa. I was unlawful for a few days as I couldn’t get back to the UK because airports and flights shut down due to the Covid Pandemic. I ended up staying in Australia for about 1 year on Bridging visas (visas that let you stay legally in the country while you make plans to depart) my question is if my Australian working holiday visa gets rejected will that jeprodise my chances of getting a visitor visa for the USA. Apart from this I have good migration history and as of a few months ago was on holiday in the US but becuase my exclusion to Australia is over it wasn’t necessary for me to inform the US

Hi, I was wondering if I have a strong case. I want to get my B1B2 visa to take the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE). However I haven’t gotten out of the country yet (Philippines) and I just resigned from my PT job (This January 2024) to focus on my review. My parents are funding my review, exam and trip to Hawaii (where the exam will take place). I have resigned, yes however I have private home service clients.
Will my inexperience of not having had a visit to other countries and my recent resignation be seen as a negative? Is my case strong enough, do you think?
Could I use my private practice in turning my negative (my resignation) into a positive with said private practice?
Would love to hear anyone’s response. Thank you

Dear sir, my f1 visa got refused in 2007, now I got an opportunity for H1-B visa. While filling ds160 I see a question asking 'have you ever been refused a us visa or been refused admission to the united states. Do I need to mention about my f1 refusal details or it's not required as it's H1B visa and not related to student visa. Also it's been 15 years since it happened, do this history exists?. Kindly suggest

Lol you people don't lie. You always reject our F1 visa without any reason😡We are not sad about rejection. But as I got refused in November, I am not able to get refused slots. If we ask any query in CGI website you people ask us to wait for 352 Days. Waiting for 352 days is so much disheartening. And we are spending a lot on USA process. I spent almost 3 Lakhs. I got rejected for Northeastern University which is a top universitiy. You people simply reject us without telling any reason lol. In future we will show what indians are in our own style💯 Literally playing games with us. You people treating F1 students as slaves and terrorists. We are going to study and improve ourselve. But you people dont even have any mercy on students. Why USA universities are giving admissions if we are not qualified for F1 visa? 214b is a worst reason that we get as a common slip for every refused candidate. Definitely karma will hit back 🤞

Hello Argo, did you mention any scenario where a F1 visa applicant has had refusals from two-three other different countries, on whether that will affect that applicant F1 visa success?

    • @ArgoSocial
      @ArgoSocial  8 месяцев назад

This will have a significant negative impact on your case. Visa Officers often look down on applicants visiting multiple countries to do their visa interviews and even have a term for this called "Visa Shopping". We strongly recommend you work with someone on our team to come up with a custom strategy to help you have your best chance at an approval in the future.

      @@ArgoSocial I think I might have miscommunicated.
I meant, would US immigration have an issue with an applicant who applied for student visas to study in those respective countries, e.g. New Zealand or Canada, but were refused by their officers to study in their countries. Will that history cause an issue if the applicant was to apply for F1 visa for the first time?
I didn't mean to say the applicant was applying for F1 visa from different countries.
